Do you know anyone from your school who died?

*sigh* my best friend...

He was my best friend, we did everything together, we were the troublemakers of the class. All from pre-school to 4th grade. Then he told me he was moving to a different state. Then, the next day, there was a news report on a car crash, and the person (people) who died in it, looked just like him. I haven't caused any trouble since that news report, I have always been good to make him proud, because we always tried to stop our troublesome ways.

 

It wasn't at my school but.. It was my family member.. It was my uncle and at he age of 15 he died of a extremely rare heart disease that is undetectable and one day my grandma(his mother) found him dead collapsed on the floor.. She thought he was just passed out but no.. He wasn't..(sorry crying atm ._. )I found out beacuase at the time I was developing sleeping issues and I heard my mom crying.. And I overheard what happened.. His whole school was devistated.. But my grandma started a foundation is his memory to help people like him.. (god bless you grandma ;-; ) brb crying.

 

Last year's school captain died.

He was popular. And it was on the schoolies break thing. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schoolies_week)
I heard it was because he didn't take his asthma puffer with him and had an attack during the night. The whole school was sad.
People cried. I just sat there because I didn't really know him.
But yeah.

 

I swear someone dies for every schoolies week. Last year someone was thrown of a skyscraper (where a party was held)...
And of course... they were all too drunk to care ._.

One of the senior students at my school went to India to see his family, he fell off a tuktuk and was run over by a truck :(

I just recently learned about this story about a Boy Scout from another Troop in my town(I say another meaning not mine).

He was at a summer camp(a week long camping trip we do every year) and someone there showed a trick called "the ring of fire". It's where you squirt a ring of alcohol or lighter fluid, light it, and bam. Ring of fiyaaaaahhhh. But the guy doing it dripped some of it or something as he lit it, and set the stuff still in the bottle on fire, so he carelessly threw it away. It hit this other guy, his twin brother, and one of their friends. One of the twins died from his burns, the other twin and their friend were severely injured. I read more about it online after our scoutmaster told us the story, and apparently he went to my school(not while I was there, this is a few years ago).

This year, my Math teacher told our class that one of her students passed away due to cancer during the major exam a few years back <she was in the hospital while others were taking the exam> (this happened even before I was enrolled into the school). So obviously, she and the students' classmates were really upset.
I swear, when my class heard about this, some of us nearly cried.

 

Off topic: I hate when people name their kids something that sounds like a normal name, but is spelled ridiculously.
Example: Naming your kid "Joshua", but spelling it Jauschyewa.
It just means they have to go through life spelling out their name for everyone

On topic: Idk if this counts, but one of my friends tried to kill herself about a year ago. She drank bleach and was both anorexic and bulimic. I found out about all of this when I texted her one night, and I hadn't talked to her for a while, so it felt weird to learn all of this so suddenly.

 

Lol I'm late but it was spring break and my friend was driving back in a big RV with about 8-12 people in it on April fool's day. The RV went out of control and it went off of the bridge killing i think 3-4 people with the rest injured. 1 in elementary school, 1 in middle school, 1 in high school and I don't remember the rest. it's been about 3 1/2 years now. I miss my friend so much ! she had the kindest heart ever <3 ;-;
