Weird Things your parents tell you or "Parent Quotes"

Ok, lets face it. We have all heard those weird "Parent Quotes". I know there is a better word then "Weird" however I cannot think of one right now.

My Dad, always use to say
"If you don't like it, go live with your <Cuss Word> grandma in the ghetto.

I always use to hate it when he says that, and then afterwards he would come and hug me, and I not that guy who likes hugs. xD.

Eh, my parents don't use many quotes.
Just the same ol' "do this" or "do that".

 

When i do something dumb or say something dumb my dad says "and thats y ur adopted" lol hes just joking tho

"There are 2 sides to an argument. Mum's side and the wrong side."

every question i ask them or if i want something its always "no"

(my mom says 2 minutes after we just helped her clean and sat down to relax)

 

Me - So, all my friends are playing on the DS, and I want to be able to play with them. Can I get one too, please?

Parents - Well, if your friends jumped off a bridge, would you do it too?

Me - Wait, what?

Like, really, what? I just wanted to play with my friends. I wasn't about to jump off a bridge wth them.

 

When I go into a store:

"Don't touch anything don't look at anything you aren't getting anything"

"Do your room" "get to bed"` "babba"

 

"Why do I have to go to a party where I don't know anyone?"
"Oh you know them, you just don't remember them."

 

This actually happened.

me: *crying* mom he(my brother) just threw me against a wall and there's a dent where my head hit
mom: you provoked him by staying in the bathroom too long. Go to your room.
me: mom he THREW ME AGAINST A WALL
mom: well he's an adult I can't punish him.

Oh my lord this is so freaking true

Dad: Be very, very quiet *farts*
I'm just doing homework while he farts in the fan too and it bothers me so much

 

Mum: Clean your room!
Me: It's already clean..
Mum: Do you see that? CLEAN IT!
Me: What? I spent time cleaning my room..
Mum: YOU DIDN'T CLEAN YOUR ROOM GOD DAMNIT! -Parent quote

 

I've seen stuff around about this.

I'm minding my own business, studying and stuff. And then I pick up my phone the second my mom walks in to change the music.

"This is why you can't have your phone while studying"

Mum: YOU WAS AKSBCNOCMDLSL

*mum walks past me on phone and keeps looking over my shoulder*
Me: Stop it
Mum: What are you doing?
Mum: What are you playing?
Me: Oh come on, you hate it when I look at your phone :/

When I make a fair point:
Mum: Don't answer back!

 

Dont forget when you say nothing
Mum: Why arent you talking?!
