How did you learn english.

I learned English because it's my native language. I learned parts of Hawaiian in a young grade and parts of Japanese in an older grade

I also know a bit of Japanese and Vietnamese and the fact that I'm Vietnamese and I don't know much vietnamese words is kinda ironic

 

I've learn from most movies, I don't learn stuff from games, only the funny parts, so I'll say, thanks movies c;

 

When I was like 3 years old, I started playing video games on a PC we used to have. One day after watching some thing on YouTube when I was 5 years old, I saw this add of this game called "Roblox". I started playing it, and there was like this cloud on the right top which made you talk. (It was at the time I couldn't type anything in chat for some reason.) I've used to cloud which had words like "Follow me" or "Hello, how are you". After a while of playing it, my English got a lot better, and when I was at the age of like, 10? I got a lot better in the language, and got to speak it fluently. I also got help from some YouTuber's videos like this one YouTuber I used to watch. I can't really remember his name.
I also have a video from years ago that I've made when I was 9 years old. xD

I guess I'm the first to vote that I learned English in school?
My first language was actually Spanish and I didn't know any English when I began my first year of kindergarten at school. I'm just like wut. Wtf are you all saying.

I started playing games, being a lot on internet. But I think i learned mostly stuff on here tho

 

Firstly saw my brother on the computer and saw unfamiliar alphabet, was fascinated by it and asked what language is it. He answered English, and it'll take you a while to learn it. I actually was very talented at English from age 6 and even before, and knew it at a very high level, unexplained reason and matter. Surfed the internet, translated to my native language (Hebrew) and by doing many stuff on the web learned more and more English vocabulary, and now it is at its kind of highest level. xD

I learned english through several things: self taught, playing english games, watching american TV-series in english (I'm not american :p)... but most of all school. Since these 8 years I've been in school I learned very much. I'm glad, that I can speak english.

 

Im dutch, I've learned english mostly fro.m games like pokemon and later I improved it on school

Native speaker, but that didn't help much. Primary school (I guess you Americans call it 'elementary') was my best source.

These days though, movies and games are better for learning languages. That's how I learnt my mother tongue (Persian).

 

Native, and I know some Arabic words from my grandmother, although she is loopy.

 

My first language is actually Viet, although I'm more fluent in English since I use it often, but I learned english from watching PBS Kids hahah and reading and writing constantly

 

Started learning it in school in 2nd grade.

I'm learning Spanish in school now and even though I just started I can keep a brisk conversation.
