[Poll] Multilingual Community or English only Community?

If anybody on the staff team considers this mini-modding, please let me know. I'm not trying to mini-mod, but I decided to get some opinions before I make a fully-fleshed suggestion. If this thread turns from friendly debate to hot-headed flame wars then I'll close it ASAP.

So, as most people know, this server is an English only community in terms of public chat and forums. This makes it hard for people who do not speak English to communicate with other members of a server they enjoy playing, severely impacting the amount of players we could have on the server.

In my personal opinion, I like the idea of the server being open to everyone, including people who can't speak English that well or at all, but at the same time it would have to be organized in such a way that people could have conversations in one language and not interrupt somebody who's speaking in another. I'll explain more if I make the full suggestion.

I understand the reasons why people would disagree with me on that. If not handled properly having a multilangual server could end up being messy, but if handled properly could also be a great opportunity for more diverse people to join and enjoy the game.

I'll explain this in more detail once I make the full suggestion thread, but for now just tell me what you guys would think of the server supporting languages other than English. I'm basically just throwing the idea out there to see how people react. :)

 

I believe the server should go multilingual as the rule isn't enforced as it is and languages are cool yo

 

I agree with Mappy, I think this is a good idea.
