Minecraft Factions Tips and Tricks

I'm a veteran factions player, from many servers. Here's how to protect yourself from most kinds of raids.

*Hide your stuff, but not how you think. Even on grief allowed servers, raiders usually look where people actually have stuff. Sometimes, the best chest is hidden under another hidden chest. My favorite is in the walls of nearby caves.

*Use an underground base, with escape tunnels that enter wilderness (hide them well, make sure they're deep). Put decoy bases and underground bases (look hidden, a little block out of place or so) around territory.

*Never reveal coordinates or clues to locations.

 

Ummmm. No. You dont seem like a factions veteran.... also with the amount of hackers (revivehockey arkyalte mrwhitegoat) that use raiding hacks its almost impossible. These tips are like survival tips not factions. They will find your stuff faat

 

It sounds like you come from a different type of factions server, if you tried putting a chest under another one, it would be blown up anyway.
And putting tunnels straight into your base is a great idea, if you want to be raided.
I don't mean any offence, it just sounds like you're used to a different type of factions than on our server.

 

I've never done J&H factions, I do a bunch of indie servers, and have for about a year and a half. I don't know how j&h facs work (only had a peek), but this is for servers where there is solid wilderness around territories and enough territory to prevent tnt cannons. Once I had 73 chunks in my territory, until my neighbor got pissed, and you can probably figure out what happened after that. Stole my base, but I recovered my stuff by these strategies. Plus I admit I worded it wrong. You don't directly connect the tunnels to your base; it's suicide. I neglected to explain the measurements due to lack of characters. The chest is (obviously) far enough below the first one, and the tunnels are for get aways when you have already left the base because entrances are about 20-70 blocks away (keep it varied and hidden on both sides).
