I mean, you also have to take into account the idea of staying outside the opponent's cross hairs & sights, that way you avoid getting hit and can catch them off guard
1.7 - "What's your CPS?" "12-13" 1.9 - "What's your CPS?" "1 per 2 seconds" Kohi will not be updating to 1.9, hopefully. And for everyone who is saying the only skill involved in 1.7 PvP is spamming hits, you're completely wrong. - Strafing is a skill. - W-Tap is a skill. - Aiming/Accuracy is a skill. - Hot-keying is a skill. - Jitter clicking and aiming accurately is a skill. 1.9 almost completely changes the aspect of PvP, adding shields and making all those weeks of practicing jitter clicking completely useless. I hope most 1.7 PvP servers stay 1.7/1.8... Or else RIP PvP.
1.9 has its ups and downs, however I feel that it brings a more fair and skilled aspect back to Minecraft PvP. The cooldown more or less removes the point in jitter-clicking, making it a bit more fair for newer players.
Then the jitter clicking is useless. Oh well. Learn how to PvP in 1.9, and stop complaining about it. You're a close minded individual who cant see past his own two feet. This might be like the DS where everyone thought it looked like crap, and Bam. It revolutionized the handheld world of gaming.
I most likely won't be PvPing in 1.9. I'll be staying on Kohi where they will still have 1.7 PvP. I feel if I spent so much time practicing a skill that a small ratio of people that play the game can do, I should stick with that skill. Now my opinion of 1.9 PvP is: You hit once. Oppenant hits once. You hit once. Opponent hits once. Etc.
You nubs try spam clicking (jitter click) 13-14 cps and keep aiming at the person Not showing off. Click that fast for me if you can. Subscribe;)
