Eli, you are a great staff member and this community is lucky to have you around. You've contributed a lot since you became a member of the staff years ago, and I hope you continue to do good work as always.

While I choose not to voice my opinions on this whole matter, know that I still support you as a person. People, whatever gender they may be, are intrinsically valuable beings to be respected and cared for.

I hope whatever medical procedures you go through go well and that you recover from them. (I'm just that one guy who still has no idea how this transition happens, so yeah.)

 

Even though I do not understand these kind of seuxal/gender things, I feel like saying this

Being uncomfortable about something is not a blessing but it's a curse, letting it out is hard for some people who are afraid, but you proved you are not type of people, you took a step into the next door, Eli.

I felt like I was lying to everyone that's why I feel like others would be mad.

also, there's a difference between sex/gender.
sex, what you have; what you were born as.
gender, what you identify as. there's more than 2 genders. fun fact
gender expression, how you choose to express yourself in any way.

 

Well don't feel bad about it, you're a good mod and if anyone got mad at you I wouldn't understand it.

And yeah I know the difference between all that. I have a few friends who feel the same way as you do, and it didn't chagne my views of them at all. I was just saying I agree with what Hamood said about being yourself.

 

Eli, I personally support what you are going through. You are a really nice person and I respect you a lot. Nothing is ever going to change my opinion on you. I know that you are a good person and that your are compassionate and caring. I respect you and your courage to make this thread. Everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin. This obviously does not change what I think about you at all. I have and still will always continue to support you through any complications that you may have because I feel like you do the same for me.

 

Pansexuality & asexuality is perfectly fine tbh. Being a Transgender to me is fine, and it took me a long time before I really understood the new idea of differenciating sex & gender since the last time we spoke in person, Eli. When you first told me a while back that you were biologically a girl, I thought it was a big deal, especially if the world seems to be against Transgender people. What was the most shocking was how we spoke mouth-to-mouth and even vid-called. I always thought you were a boy. It wasn't a "Dont judge a book by your cover" situation. It was a "Main character in your book sorta just got shot" situation. I don't think anyone should be angry or upset over this. And if you do get upset over Eli's decision, then wake your ignorant ass up and go look outside to see how hard life is for Transgenders.

And Eli, for what it's worth: I'm sorry for what I said last time we talked. It was very irrational and ignorant of me, and hopefully we can talk again soon.

You know we are all for here for you, no mater if your transgender or not. I know how hard it can be to come out to people, but most people accept you. I think of you highly

As for any hate - If anyone did post it, they'd end up with not many friends.

 

This is very courageous of you to say. Anyone sharing something very important about who they are, I find that a really brave thing to do. Thank you for telling us this, it helps a lot, especially to the people from the LGBT+ community. I highly respect you and will fully support you until the end. Forget those who dislike you for being you, you're being who you want to be, and that's all that matters.
