Minecraft [POLL] Does anyone feel compelled to play this game?

Ok! Simple; answer this poll. Do you still feel compelled, pushed, or just feel as if it's 'what you do' when you play Minecraft? I'm just wondering because I want to know who else has basically given up on Minecraft. Answer the poll or post your opinions below.

 

Not as much as before. It's not as fun unless you're in the company of friends.

Then again I haven't seriously done a singleplayer world in months...hmm.

 

Personally, I've never found the game interesting at all.
I only stay here for the friendships and communication.

 

Minecraft is honestly beginning to suck. They're adding to much to the game. They should've stopped at 1.7 or 1.5 in my opinion.

This thread summarizes what I think.
Minecraft was a well-executed idea, don't get me wrong, but after a while it just lost its touch. It became "meh." I didn't find as much to do on it anymore as I had in the past.

Hey, no worries. Staff members don't necessarily have to like the game - so long as they're good staffs, that's okay in my book.

 

I only go on when somebody needs me online. (Rare)

Other than that, I feel that Minecraft became boring after a couple of months of playing it.
I hardly ever played it since god knows when.

 

I quit lego game a few weeks ago

 

Honestly, i only like the game for 3 reasons
A: Socializing
B: Servers
C: Playing with friends

Minecraft was amazing while it lasted, For the first couple of months, It was so cool, I just thought of the infinite adventures and things that awaited for me. But it lost that spark after like, a year or less.

 

Minecraft honestly has really gone downhill for me. Everything in Minecraft has gotten too repetitive, including the servers, so repetitive, that it almost feels like grinding for loot in Destiny. I don't really come on that much anymore, unless I'm playing with friends. Anyways, I've been playing a lot of other games.

 

Minecraft is becoming a really stupid-game. Apparently, Minecraft are making some sort of movie... really?! That just pushes the line, they're adding way too many things and making the game unlikeable. All these new features are getting annoying, and I liked when it wasn't over complicated. All these new blocks confuse me, and it makes Minecraft not Minecraft anymore. I believe that Mojang are trying to make more money then ever with Minecraft Realms and a new game series. I'm starting to get sick of the game, all these pointless updates that just create tons of new bugs and those bugs create other bugs. I only play too hang out with friends now, and occasionally play a minigame. Otherwise, I'm out.

1.9 seems like a pretty stupid update and it's not what MC needs.

 

To be honest, I hardly ever just play this game anymore, the fun in that died a long time ago. What I enjoy doing now is administrating servers, and working on plugin configuration.
