Van Halen isn't that, they're a classic rock band, one of their songs, Jump, was one of the most popular songs, even topping the charts. Jump is a classic.

also, "screamo" is good as long as it's done correctly.

 

Perhaps the closest classic rock has gone to screamo is AC/DC. In songs like Thunderstruck, it bears a resemblance to screamo, and yes, screamo has some good songs, but overall, people can't perform it properly. Now, let's get back on topic.

 

My favorite band would be bon jovi. I like their songs.

Atmosphere is a pretty cool rap group that has a pretty wide spectrum of songs. Many of them are useful to help get past things in life, and others are just deep. They're like the meaningful Fort Minor songs, but they focus on day-to-day life more than the grand scheme. Most of their songs are explicit, however there are pretty good clean versions out there. I definitely recommend checking out this band, especially The Best Day, The Loser Wins, and Yesterday. Felt this little blurb was necessary <3
