Just wanted to hear your opinions, this isn't to start any arguments. Recently, Ariana Grande went to this donut store. She decided it'd be a nice idea to make fun of the people who work there, whilst with some friends. So, there was a full tray of donuts sitting on the bench and Ariana thought it'd be an excellent idea to spit and lick the doughnuts. Ariana and her friends were laughing away, and the shop owners weren't happy. If you view that video, it'll show the video proof. If that wasn't enough proof, Ariana actually admited she did it. This is a pretty stupid and foolish thing to do, what do you guys think? Her fans are saying she was smelling the donuts, but she actually admited she did it. Ariana has been a bit of a diva lately; so this is no surprise.
It is a big deal, it is disgusting. Her being a celebrity makes it bigger yes but any person that does this should get punished. Her or any other person should have common sense and not do stupid shit like this, people messing with food that is being sold to customers is disgusting.
I agree with @Saul1337. Even if she's a celebrity, that's not okay for her to do and the case should be treated the same way as if it was a person who wasn't a celebrity taking these actions.
The donut shop also got their A+ health rating knocked down to a B (ouch) because of this incident, even though the shop owners apparently said they didn't sell those donuts, but the shop also has three times the amount of customers it's had before she was there. So not all bad came out of this situation.
Yes, what she did was disgusting. I agree, completely uncalled for. It's not okay for anyone to do so, but do we really have to be making a huge fuss over a stupid donut. Not really. People have done much worse, trust me. People do stupid shit everyday, even worse than this. Ariana is a celebrity, I get it. I mean, there are people starving, war, lgbt rights, and a bunch of other stuff going on but hey lets focus on a donut! She stated that she "hated americans, hated america" I can actually see her point, no to be insultive or anything of that nature. What punishment would she even gets anyways? Jail time? Prolly not, someone would bail her out for a lot of damn money I know that. Community service, I am sure she wants to get swarmed by fans. A fine? She's makes millions doesn't she? Yeah, she'd easily pay that. Ariana may never even go into that donut shop again. Her apology was heartfelt and real in my opinion. She hasn't committed a terrible act against me, or anyone that I am an acquaintance with. Not sure if it has affected anyone's life here on these forums has she with this oh so terrible act. Or even in real life, except maybe the donut shop owner. Basically saying what Misfit said, ouch the health rating went down but did they sell the donuts? I assume not. The shop now has more customers so I guess that is a good thing. Not saying that I disagree with what the others said above, just why do we make such a fuss. Ariana has kinda let fame get to her, but if that was anyone else doing that. Nothing would've happened. I don't listen to Ari, but I have respect for her. I have respect for any artist really. Feel free to disagree with me, I do not mind. tl;dr: Not that big of a deal. People do even more disgusting things everyday. have a nice day.
She looks like a child, acts like a child, and sounds like a dog whistle. any famous person needs to know that WHATEVER they do in public WILL be blown up for everyone to see.
Ariana, in my opinion, she dont sing that well. She doesn't really know what's called respect, and she does everything for her own good/sake. That girl is out of her mind sometimes, and I feel like she needs to be a little bit more mature. After that she said that she hate America. If she does hate it, leave. I didn't hate her until I saw this thing, where she ignored she fans that have been waiting for her for 6 hours. That is just plain rude. I do get that the shop made a lot of money after that, but the owner wasn't happy in general. She is kind of creating a bad model for her fans. She did look like she mean it in the "sorry babes" video. If she did it once, she could do it again. Overall I think she should be slightly punished.
okay, ive said so many things about this on my fanpage and shit, but ill state it here too. as you all can tell, im a huge fan of ariana grande. when i first saw the video, i was extremely upset. i was truly disappointed, and i haven't been so disgusted since the carter video came out. the whole day, that's what all was on my feed. my friend and i talked about it a lot, and we were pissed. she didn't say a single thing for days straight. when she finally apologized, it was focused on the child obesity and stuff like that. what she did was extremely wrong, and disgusting. but she's human guys, she's going to learn from her mistakes, like her said in her apology video. it's just a stupid donut. and the thing about america, get your head out of your ass, you know america has many flaws. if you actually pay attention in the video, those donuts were huge! the employee was laughing too. she hadn't been on social media, and it's disgusting that everyone pushed her to the point where she can't connect with her fans. leave her te hell alone, she 22. she's very young. she's very talented and sweet. everyone is a diva at many times in your life, don't try to deny it. im tired of seeing this everywhere i go, because it's so dumb. let her get back to her life. she's going back on tour tomorrow evening, and maybe she can finally act like herself again. you don't have to agree with my opinion at all, but don't say that my opinion is wrong. respect me and ill respect you. there's a quote, i don't remember it exactly or who it's by, but it goes like this "a person who owns up to their mistakes should and will be forgiven." she's apologized, let it go. can't wait for this to eventually blow over.
