Downgrade? I doubt you have any idea of how architecture works. You're probably one of those people who has no idea what the proper difference between an i5 or i7 is, or that it's 'faster'.

The truth is, all the information you've given is good... provided we're at least as far back as 2012, where games are optimised for lower horsepower GPUs. In the modern world 0f 2015, 3GB should be considered minimum, and many more GPUs are using 4GB.

If I'm wrong, use any tech website that proves so. Unlike you, I actually appear to know how to find an optimal CPU. If clock speed was all that matters, then the FX 9590 would be the king of the market, no? But it's being ridiculed by it's Intel counterparts like the 4790. Why? Speed and 'more cores' are the only upper hand the 9590 holds over the 4790. In the real world, the 4790 would demolish the 9590.

If you need proof to see that you're horrifically wrong, here you go:

The 9590, with a higher clock speed by 1.5Ghz, lost in all tests to an i5 except in the benchmark, which doesn't count in the real world. The advice your giving is wrong, accept that.
