If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

With all these people saying immortailty, I tell you this: immortality will suck.
As C.C. said, there is no life without death. You get to live forever and indulge in your wishes, but you'll die a thousand deaths and feel agonizing pain. Your loved ones will vanish over time. You'll regret that choice of power, I assure you. No thanks, I want to die.

I choose bending reality to my will. Or maybe teleportation. But I want reality bending more.

 

Ability to refill anything. Think about it. Bank account empty? Fill it. Want more pepsi but to lazy to go up and get some? Refill it. Someone annoying you? Refill their bladder.

 

Well, in my opinion immortality would kind of suck after a while.

Part of that depends on how you are "immortal" first of all. Do you still age? Can you still get hurt? Can you still get diseases that would normally kill a mortal person?

If you never stop aging, eventually you'll get so old that you'll be a vegetable for the rest of your long life. If you get mortally wounded (and can feel it) or catch a disease, then you're going to be in a large amount of pain for a very, very long time. (Plus, you'd be a medical miracle for surviving a deadly disease or getting a fatal wound and losing a lot of blood. This would attract a lot of possibly unwanted attention.)

Even if the immortality conditions include not physically aging, never getting hurt, and never getting sick, you'd still have to forever cope with the (mortal) people you love and friends dying and you never seeing them again.

And maybe after you've seen everything in the world life would get boring.

This, of course is just my opinion, and I'm not hating on the people who wish to be immortal.

TL;DR: I think a short life is better than one that never ends.

I would like the ability to freeze time but be able to unfreeze specific objects or people.

Also I'd like to be able to fly incredibly long distances without stopping.

Enough to cross something like the Atlantic Ocean.

Easy. Mind control.

As smart as that may be, in the event you try committing a crime and are sentenced with life imprisonment... or something screws up in your life to the point you feel suicidal, you will feel like hell.

And remember that immortality isn't the same as immunity/invulnerability so you'd still be able to be hurt/feel pain :p Imagine feeling that forever...

I chose extremely intelligence because right now I'm watching Sherlock and it's amazing <3 Also in the show called Forever it's basically like an immortal Sherlock in New York City and I just really wish I could be that smart xDD

Now that someone stole Mind Control as an option (pls I love mind control) and someone else stole freezing time (ekko op amirite), I need another option.
You have omnipotence as an option. It's technically akin to knowing all. So if I could be omnipotent and omnipresent, I'd be able to do whatever I wanted. I'd be the god of my own new world.
Yeah, that'd be pretty cool.

The most usefull power to have would be, in my opinion controlling people's minds. You could become the world's wealthiest person, just by making everyone think you are. "Mind Controll;All the people;I am the wealthiest person alive and everyone on this planet will transfer 10 000 Euros on xxx Bank Account" Even by being at school. You could just not write anyting on your paper and "Control;Teacher;10 at Test" then your whole class and school and directors etc would go WTF and "Control;Everyone in school and that doesn't believe in my 10;Stop doubting and get back to work". You want to fly? Go in a square full of people and "Control;This square;I am flying at the moment". Many other things you could do...
