Do you have someone you look up to (or multiple people)?

I would just like to see if you guys/gals/everyone else in between have anyone that you look up to? or that has inspired you.
Well, I have a few people.
Of course, Gerard Way like I probably have mentioned before. He's the light of my life, and has made me a better person. He makes me smile every single day, is the one that has done so much for me without even notice. He's taught me so many things, and I'm glad I've got to thank him for it. He means the world to me, and I'm unbelievably proud of him. Gerard thought he'd never live past 25, but he did. He's overcame depression, alcoholism, and drugs. I say it every single day that I am so proud of him. His music, his comics, words and tweets just excite me. I'm grateful for his existence. The world wasn't ready for him 38 years ago.

Frank Iero.
He is just a little ball of energy. He also makes me smile daily. Frank plays his damn heart out every single night, and his very caring for his fans. He was for me. Frank has also taught me very valuable lessons that I will never forget. Frank has overcame depression, and also quit smoking. Frank is a genuine person, and is so talented. I don't think he knows that. His passion for his children is just the best thing in the world. He is passionate about music, and just creating things I love that. Frank has said so much to help me and many people.

Mikey Way.
Mikey is just so sweet, and kind. Mikey puts a big grin on my face seeing him happy. He's overcame depression, and in the state he was in was terrible. I'm glad he's better now. Mikey has gone through a lot after the MCR break just like all of the guys did. But, he got it hard from some of the so called fans and didn't let that get to him. He loves his girlfriend, soon to be wife and I just love that. He is such a good person. From the things he says to his bass playing.

Ray Toro.
Man, this guy played his heart out every night. Ray Toro is a great person, he is so pure and genuine. Different than anyone I have ever encountered. Whether it's him playing guitar, or writing music. Ray is kind, and has done so much to help many people. I can't to see what he does in the future along with the people above.

MCR.
A combination of the wonderful men above^. I am never going to be able to pay what I owe to MCR, I owe them my life. They really did give me reasons to live and reasons to believe even with every fucked up thing that happens in the world, they taught me to have hope and keep on living. They gave me a reason to wake up each morning and live. And I will always be grateful. They are the lights at the end of my tunnel. Thank you MCR.I enjoy the little things in life. Their happiness means the world to me. They are happy.

Twenty One Pilots. (Tyler & Josh)
I love these guys so much, they mean a lot to me. They have given me advice, and helped me so much through. I can't even begin to thank them enough. Their music is relatable, and each song is different. They both play their hearts out each show and go through a lot soon overcoming it. Both Josh and Tyler have a genuine friendship with each other. And, they care very much for their fans |-/

So, who inspires you or who is someone you look up to?

 

Matthew Santoro, his youtube channel has taught me to be humorous but serious when needed. I also like his sense of humor.

 

This is going to sound lame, but the person I look up to most is my great grandma. She started life all over here
and has been thru ridiculous stuff, and shes the
strongest person, man or woman, I've ever known :)

 

I've always looked up to Missy Franklin or Michael Phelps

They've just done so much in the art of swimming, it' unreal. I want to be like the someday.

 

I look up to my one friend who I won't name, he just kind of always shrugs everything off and cares so much about others and I just want to be that caring one day.

 

Everyone in Avenged Sevenfold. and my parents ofc

 

Derek Jeter is someone who I find inspiring, even though he wasn't the best of the best, he still left a big legacy with 5 world series wins, all with the Yanks.

That's pretty cool to say something like that about yourself if you ask me, but idk.

 

I look up to Stimpy because he is a god at everything and can ez everyone.. But me of course. I think you guys should look up to me because I'm a god like SoupSkidz member

My biggest inspirations would be Paul McCartney and John Lennon.

No it's not because of the fact that they are my favorite artists, no.
Their life stories are just so inspiring.

I try to use my own imagination of 'the perfect life' in order to reach my goals. I don't have someone to look up to.

I honestly look up to Lorde. I think that she is a very wonderful person. She has taught me so much. She has taught me to not care about what others think and to state my honest opinion when needed. People have made fun of her and even called her ugly and she still is moving up and doing good things in this world without caring about what others say about her. She doesn't try to sell her body either like most female singers today which I respect her for a lot. She has taught me so much and I respect her so much. So if anyone wants to claim that I have something wrong with me just because I like Lorde, just remember that she is a good role model (well in my opinion at least).

Park Choa

No matter how many auditions she failed (and it was a lot) she didn't give up, and now she's the main vocal of one of the most popular girlbands in 2015. I also think we're very alike, Choa's parents were really against her dream of becoming a singer and she had to practice singing alone at night, like me. She's my #1 inspiration.
