Are Cookies Good..?

I am thinking of deleting every single cookie on my safari on my macbook....

Is this a good idea? Because I found a LOT of random websites, and one of them....

Was porn......................

EDIT: I DO NOT WATCH PORN. I GOT THE FLIPPING WEBSITE FROM CLICKING IT WHEN A GUY SHOWED ME A LINK.He didn't tell me what it was, and I was curious. I know, it was stupid ;_;

so erm...Should I delete ALL of my cookies? :I cauz i like...have over 799 cookies and idk how they got there....and I also dont know if I shuld delete ALL of them cuz my mom has like her password to her bank account somewhere in the cookies. She doesn't remember her password either. ;_;

I was expecting this to be a thread where you were saying that you've never had a cookie before. And I was waiting to say, "OFC COOKIES ARE DELICIOUS".

But, my question is, why is there porn in the first place...

In the event your mother/father discovers the pornography, you are legitimately dead. Delete it...like, now. In the future, be more careful when downloading stuff, or just don't download stuff.

Just delete that one. If you delete every cookie you might lose something valuable.

Would you throw away an entire box of Oreos because one of them was broken?

 

If you remember the passwords for where ever you go, you be fine. It also clears some space on your computer. So clear your cookies AND your History.

how dare you. oreos are the best cookies ever.

And Spicy, you have to take the whole cookie, put a fork in the cream, dip it in milk, wait for it to get soggy, and eat the whole thing. It's like cake... but better.

Lidia, what you are dealing with is a form of malicious software but on a much smaller scale. Tracking cookies are very minor, but they can track what you do on the internet. So i suggest you delete tracking cookies to prevent unknown people from tracking your every move. If its a porn site, DELETE IT ASAP. Those may have the potential to send you a trojan through tracking cookies, so i suggest you delete them.

 

Sites like those tend to stick around in your computer.. If you know what I mean. Delete the cookies, and run virus scans like Malwarebytes or AVG to make sure your computer isn't infected. I suggest installing WOT toolbar if you have Google Chrome, or maybe an online web browser software that will protect your computer and warn you about going on malicious sites. WOT toolbar actually gives you an alert warning that says that a certain website is dangerous, and you have the option to exit out.

I don't watch porn (lol.) but I have friends who send me a crap ton of website viruses that sometimes relate.

 

I use a mac. I dont really think I need da virus whatever thingy :P
