anvil bug?

    everytime i use an anvile to combine 2 items or a item and a book it takes my experience but the items don't combine. is this a bug or is this intensonal? or does this happen on my island only?

    This should be in the Report bugs area. And yes, it is a bug.

    The server still runs a Minecraft 1.7 backend so 1.7 is the recommended version until J&H update. This is caused by the overhaul of enchanting in 1.8. This is an extremely well-known bug so doesn't exactly need reported (It also has been done already).

    This will definitely be fixed when the server updates to 1.8 so use 1.7 for now or just wait.
