If you've heard of the Heroes Of Olympus series, or read it, Then you'll love this. It includes Charecters from the forums as well as charecters from the actual book series. I hope this story does well, because I really like writing these. And I hope you enjoy reading them.Starring: @Caity @KrisKrikken I Percy Nothing had felt better for Percy than knowing that the war with the giants was finally over. He could keep teaching sword lessons, keep playing capture the flag. He had gotten almost everything back after all, and more. The rivalry between Greeks and Romans was non existant, He could keep in touch with his new friends, Frank and hazel. but there was one thing that Percy missed. Leo. The guy had done a good job, but it costed his life. If Percy could meet Leo in the underworld, he'd thank him, and then punch him a million times. It had been almost week since Percy had gotten back from the quest. And now it was Wensday morning. A few of the romans from Camp Jupiter had taken the weekend off to see Camp Half-blood. Hazel and Frank walked around admiring the camp. Every once in a while they'd stop to look at one of the cabins, When Frank saw the Ares cabin, he had looked like he was going to throw up. Percy walked toward the Pavillion, where Chiron was standing alone, looking down at the camp. Percy stood next to him, watching the new Roman visitors talking with the other campers. "Hey." Percy said. "Hello, Percy." Chiron said. out of the entire week, Percy had never really gotten to talk to Chiron much. "So what do you think about the Roman's and greeks going between camps?" Percy asked. "It worries me." Chiron said. Percy frowned. "It does? Why is that? It's not like the romans are gonna steal the Athena Parthenos again." I said. Chiron raised an eyeborw." I don't mean like that Percy, Im just afraid the two camps might not get along well." "Kind of like the hunters of Artemis?" Percy asked. "Hmm, in a way." Chiron said. Percy could see how a few arguements could break out, But not as bad as the Hunters of Artemis. "Oh and Percy?" Chiron asked. "Yeah?" "There are two demigods in Kansas City who need rescuing. Gleeson hedge is there, and I was wondering if you and Annabeth would like to go too. I've already asked her and she says yes. It's just up to you now." Chiron said. "I'll go," Percy said. "When are we leaving though?" He asked. "Tomorrow morning, and I'm afraid Argus won't be able to take you, he was injured in last week's battle, Instead, Annabeth will drive. Now Percy, you should probably pack for a long trip. Percy tried to run to half blood hill, but it didn't work well with the bacpack full of clothes and all sorts of other stuff. Percy hiked up half blood hill with Annabeth at his side, It was just like old times. Argus was waiting with the keys to the SUV. But he didn't look so good. He was in a wheelchair with a cast on his leg, And everywhere near the cast, his eyes we're swollen shut. Reluctantly, he gave the keys to annabeth. "I hope your leg heals soon." Annabeth said. Argus nodded thanks. and rolled off in his wheelchair. "Well, To Kansas city we go." Percy said. "Yep." Annabeth replied, and we both got into the car. We would've gotten there by Thursday if the highways had gone straight, Instead the highway squeezed in between hills, and our car muscled through the traffic. At one point in Pennsylvania we saw a Laistrygonian giant chasing chasing some horses, but the scene was quickly shrouded in trees. And after what seemed like forever, we decided we'd take a stop in Youngstown, Pennsylvania, and eat lunch at a McDonalds. There weren't that much people here, assuming it wasn't actual lunch time. Percy took his order. But and as he walked over to our table he noticed something wrong. There was a table full of people, and they we're all staring at me strangely, At first Percy thought it was just a few people staring at us for no reason But then He looked behind him and there was another table of people, Also staring at him, Percy looked in all directions, and then He realized it. They we're surrounded. Percy tried to look as calm as he could as he walked toward the table where Annabeth was waiting. He slid onto the booth next to Annabeth "We're surrounded." I whispered to her. She looked around at the other tables to see for herself. "I counted twenty five." Annabeth said. "How is their twenty five monsters in the same place?" I asked. "I don't know, maybe there are other demigods here, but- but thats impossible!" She said. The disguised monsters seemed to be hearing our conversation. They all got up from their seats and started walking toward us. The only mortal people here looked at us suspiciously, but didn't do anything. Then the monsters closest to us morphed into their true form. The body of a sea lion, and the head of a dog - They we're sea demons - telkhines. Then they broke into a run. Annabeth put on her invisibility cap and the monster closest to where she was turned to dust a few seconds later. Before Percy even got up, the closest one slashed at my head with it's claws. Percy ducked and heard a noise like a dog chewing up a couch, There were big slash marks where his head was sitting a second earlier. Percy uncapped Riptide and jabbed at the telkhine who'd attacked him, and the monster turned to dust. He looked up at three more who were running at him and Annabeth and then the strangest thing happened, A blur of gold flew through all three of them, It stabbed into the booth beside the telkhines and Percy realized it was a harpoonlike object - a pilum. Percy looked in the direction where the pilum had came from. And he saw four demigods (Or atleast he assumed they were demigods.) Charging into battle. "Who are you guys?" I yelled "My name is Caity, I'm a legionnaire of the second Cohort- She paused and jabbed her sword at an incoming telkhine -and I'm assuming you're Percy Jackson." She said. Yeah, Thats me, but how did you get here?" Percy asked. Caity put back her gladius and retrieved the pilum in the wall. "Kris, Catch!" she tossed the pilum to another legionnaire who had been disarmed. He caught it and vaporized the telkhine that had disarmed him. "We're on our way to Camp Jupiter from Camp Half-blood." I hoped you liked this. If you want to see more chapters, Tell me below. And if you want, give some constructive criticism!
Starring: @ImNotOkayy @Lerh @KrisKrikken @Caity @Excellence_ II AnnabethEventually, the telkhines we're wiped out, Annabeth kept sneaking up on one with her invisibility cap, while Percy helped our new found legionnaires. A few hours later, both of our cars we're parked outside of an inn in Cincinnati, Ohio. As it turns out, the legionnaires were on their way to Camp Half-blood for a weekend stay. "So why are you here?" Another legionnaire asked. Then he realized he'd forgotten to introduce himself. "Apologies, I'm Raslink, and this is my friend Lor, here. He guestured to the forth legionnaire next to him, who had a probatio tablet on her neck. she looked no older than thirteen years old. "Wait," Percy said. "If you're on probatio then how did you get here?" he asked. "Well, since we can go to your camp and stay for the weekend if we want, it doesn't count as a quest, so I can go. Plus, I'm thinking I can get rid of this probatio thing by doing good in your version of war games, um, you do have your own version right?" Lor asked. "Yeah, its called Capture the flag, the title is pretty self explanitory." Percy replied. The entire time Raslink was sitting down on the pavement, waiting for Percy to answer his question. Instead, Annabeth answered for him. "We're rescuing some unclaimed campers at Kansas City." Annabeth said "Wait, what do you mean 'Unclaimed' and why does he need rescuing?" Raslink said "Well we don't exactly have our own Lupa to train campers, So we have to come get them ourselves." Annabeth said "Really?" Raslink said. "Well maybe- "Wait, Annabeth back up there." Caity said." You said you we're rescuing demigods in Kansas City? We could help you." she said. "I appreciate the offer, Caity, but I think- "Actually." Percy interrupted. "We would love for you help us." Percy said. "Yeah, but Percy, I don't think we need four Roman legionnaires with us, We'd attract too much attention." Annabeth said. remembering how many telkhines they found at the resturant. "What we're the telkhines doing at a resturant anyway?" Annabeth asked. "Oh, those telkhines chased us all the way from Lake Michigan." Caity said. "There we're fifty of them at first- "Then forty" Lor smiled. "Although, that was mainly Kris's fault- "Guys!" Annabeth interrupted, She pointed toward the sky where a large leaf was gently fluttering toward them. Annabeth held out her hand and the leaf landed on it, She looked at it for a few seconds, then said "It's from Hedge." She read the note out loud. Meet at Rose Pond, 87th street, KC by 12:30, It's urgent! LOTS of Monsters up here! P.S. They don't know they're demigods yet. -Coach Hedge Annabeth looked up at the four legionnaires. "Maybe we'll need you with us after all." Caity looked at everyone else. then at Annabeth. "We'd be willing to help. We all woke up at 4:30, We didn't get much sleep, but it was still enough. Annabeth showered and changed as fast as she could, and soon they we're on the road again. Annabeth would've had lots of time to think on the road, but sadly she was the one driving, so instead, she kept an eye on the road. And before she knew it, they we're all passing through St.Louis. The sun sat under the arch which made it look like a gateway to Olympus. Percy looked at the top of the arch and smiled like his encounter there was just a funny story. And four hours later they were passing through the suburbian area of Kansas city. "So where exactly is Rose Pond?" Percy asked. Eventually, they found Rose pond. They'd been almost an hour late. "I'd Hide your weapons somewhere If I we're you." Annabeth told the romans. "They don't know they're demigods yet. We have to keep it that way unless things go wrong. III Riley"Okay, There are new chaperones here today!" Coach hedge yelled into his microphone. (Seriously, why a microphone?) He guestured to the parking lot where A few teenagers we're walking toward our picnic shelter next to the lake. The oldest one looked about Seventeen years old, with long black hair, and an orange shirt that said Camp Half-Blood, The girl next to her had the same shirt, with blond hair. and she was holding a Yankee's cap in her hand. And four other people, all with purple shirts. "I wonder if they're actually chaperones, Hedge might've gotten the wrong people." Eli said right next to him. Basically, Eli was Riley's only friend here. His hair was bright red, and he wore casual street clothes; A gray T-Shirt and jeans. "I'm actually gonna go ask Hedge." Eli said. Then he walked off toward the picnic tables. Riley was wondering what to do when a voice scared him out of his thoughts. "Hey, dude." I jumped back. "Dude, you scared me!" Riley said, but he had a slight smile on his face. "Sorry, the guy said, He appeared to be one of the chaperones, Orange shirt and all. "Uh, what's your name?" Riley asked. "Oh sorry, I'm Percy Jackson." Percy said. "That name sounds familiar." Riley said. Percy frowned. "Hmm, I guess Jackson is a city in Mississippi." Percy laughed. "Yeah, it is. They stood in silence for a few moments. Then Riley heard Eli yelling and looked over, So did percy. Eli was trying to retrieve his nerf bow & arrow, but a big bulky dude held it in the air. "Come and get it!" He said. He held the toy bow in the air, too high for Eli to reach. Oh no you don't. Riley thought, and began to walk over but percy held him back. We both said one word in unision, "Bully." Percy looked down at Riley, Stay here, I'll take care of this. Percy walked over to the bully. "GIve the kid's bow back." He said. The bully sized percy up, he looked about fourteen years old. "How do you expect me to do that?" The bully asked. "Becausue im kind of, you know, a chaperone. Now give it back." Percy said. The bully laughed. "If you're really a chaperone, then I'm gonna ask Coach hedge." He said. "Go ahead, Percy stepped aside where Coach hedge seemed to be waiting. "He's a chaperone alright, and he'll kick your butt if you don't listen." Coach hedge said. Percy couldn't help but smile. "Fine." the bully dropped the bow on the ground and went to get a drink of water. When he pressed the button on the water fountain, water flew everywhere he stopped pressing the button and kicked the fountain "Stupid thing!" Riley looked at Percy who was smiling. Eli picked up his bow and looked at it. Then his face sank. He called to riley. "Dude, I think it's broken!" Riley wen't wide eyed. "Are you serious? I worked hard on that thing!" Percy frowned. "You made that?" Riley looked up from the broken bow. "Not really, I took it apart and remade it so it would work like a real bow." Percy seemed impressed. "Eli can use a bow?" Riley laughed while he acessed the damage of the bow. "Yeah he's, probably the best shot here." Percy looked around at other kids with Nerf guns, they missed lots of times before any of the foam darts hit. "And how good is that?" Percy asked. "He hits people dead on, all the time. I bet he could use a real bow." Riley said. Um, I don't know about that..." Eli said, his ears we're almost as red as his hair. Percy was about to ask more when Hedge pulled him aside. "The monsters are here." He said. "Really, who are they?" Percy asked. "Hedge pointed toward a Bridge that went over the lake. Where the guy who had bullied Eli was walking three pitch black greyhounds. The sidewalk he was on went right to the picnic shelter. "That's not all," Coach Hedge said. "We're surrounded." Sure enough, Two more joggers trotted toward us from the trail that led to a neighborhood behind the park. Percy looked where we came from, and there was another walker with three other greyhounds, also pitch black. All three trails converted into a T-Junction, Right next to the shelter. "Get Annabeth and the legionnaires. Now." I told coach hedge "You got it, Jackso- Wait, What legionnaires?" Coach hedge asked. "I'll explain later, Just don't attack the legionnaires, They're friendly." Percy said. "Alright, Good luck, Jackson." Coach hedge ran as fast as he could with his fake legs to find Annabeth. Riley was staring at us the entire time. "Um... What was that about?" Percy kneeled down. Okay Riley, listen. You and Eli are both in danger, The only people you can trust right now are the le- chaperones and Coach Hedge, and stay away from them." Percy pointed to all the walkers with greyhounds. who we're watching us now. "Wait a minute," Riley said. "Aren't you the guy who got kidnapped by the biker in Denver?" Percy gave Riley an unreadable expression, then said "I'll explain that later, just come with me." Too late. The walkers we're only about 50 yards away now. Okay, lets go!" Percy grabbed Riley and Eli's arms and ran with them to the parking lot"Woah, are you kidnapping us?" Eli asked. "No, I'm saving you from the walkers!" Percy said. "What did walkers ever do to us?" Eli was yelling now. Just then the walker coming from the parking lot and his three greyhounds grew in size untill he was an 8 foot tall Sasquatch. And his three greyhounds turned into Shadows with eyes each the size of a Tiger, one name from Greek mythology rang in the back of Riley's mind - Hellhound. Riley screamed. Eli seemed frozen in shock Behind them, A voice yelled "Percy!" A crossbow bolt flew over Percy's head and vaporized one of the hellhounds The second hellhound pounced, and All three of us ducked. Percy turned and faced the Hellhound while another girl with a purple shirt ran to the side, distracting the third Hellhound and the Laistrygonian. Percy pulled out a ballpoint pen and faced the hellhound "What the heck is that gonna do?" Eli asked. The pen morphed Into a bronze sword, and As the Hellhound pounced again he slashed it through the air in a deadly arc. The hellhound that turned Eli's hair into a horrible shade of Orange. "We need to leave, Now." Percy said.
I would've put this at the end of my last post, but I had exceeded the max amount of charecters (same reason there was no intro) So i have to put my message in another message... messageception I hope you liked this chapter and anticipate more chapters, If you do, tell me below. And of course, give constructive criticism if you want!
Quick question: Does it contain spoilers from Blood of Olympus? (I haven't read the entire thing yet so I don't know who dies, if someone does) ^-^
Um, I'm afraid it does. You'll have to read this once you're done with Blood of Olympus. EDIT: and you reminded me that i should probably put spoiler alerts in my next chapter intros xD
I took a one day break, because writing these stories takes a LOT of time. For example, the last chapter took 4 hours and 30 minutes, This one took atleast two. But it's here now. Starring: @Excellence_ @Lerh @Caity @KrisKrikken @ImNotOkayy IV, PercyLaistrygonian giants and hellhounds, maybe it was a good thing we kept the legionnaires with us after all. Percy looked over to the other side of the field to see Raslink and Lor running through the field, behind them the playground was partially on fire. and mortals ran in every direction behind them Percy guessed they'd had a bad encounter with one of the Laistrygonians. And in the small portion of forest that was between the field and the parking lot, a hellhound was literally chasing rustles in the bushes, which Percy assumed was Annabeth, leading the monster away from Me, Riley, and Eli. Where was Kris? "Percy!" Percy turned to see Kris running away from one of the Sidewalks, once again, toward Percy. He had a nasty cut on his arm and a hellhound was almost upon him, and Percy was too far away to help. then he remembered that there was a lake right next to Kris. Percy summoned the water, it rose out of the lake, then Percy smashed the water into the hellhound, The monster rolled over twice from the impact. Raslink must've been keeping an eye on the battle, He summoned his pilum and threw it at the downed hellhound. The monster burst into dust, but the pilum had gone right through the hellhound and into the lake. Then Percy remembered Caity in the Laistrygonian giant. He turned, only to see caity standing amongst a small pile of monster dust. "Any more monsters?" I asked everyone. "more over there." Raslink pointed toward the playground. Sure enough, atleast four more Laistrygonians and two hellhounds we're running towards them. "Let's go!" Annabeth yelled, She held her Invisibility cap in her hand as she ran toward the parking lot. "You heard her." I said. "Let's go!" We ran across a small wooden bridge that led to the parking lot. The laistrygonians threw their bronze spheres at us. One wen't right over Kris's head and into the lake. Another exploded on the bridge right behind Eli and Riley. Caity turned around, and shot her crossbow at a third, The crossbow bolt collided with the Sphere and exploded right over a hellhound, who yelped and ran into the lake. Once we had made it to the parking lot, the Laistrygonians launched another volley of spheres. Most of them wen't either behind Percy or over his head. but one slammed into a car next to Percy, which knocked him off his feet. The hood of the car flew over his head and hit something else behind him. Percy recovered as quick as he could. He looked behind him to see Eli lying unconsious on the ground. The hood of the car had hit him. "Is he dead?" Riley choked back a sob "We have to get him away from here." Percy said. He picked up Eli and ran for the SUV. Behind Percy, the others we're hopefully covering him. He carried Eli into the backseat, where his eyes fluttered opened. "Where the...?" Percy dug into his backpack. The nectar and ambrosia had to be here somewhere. Outside the car, another explosion shook the earth. He hoped his friends were okay. Percy dug into the backpack more and eventually found the the Nectar and ambrosia. "Percy?" Eli said. "Yeah, what is it? Are you okay?" Percy asked. "My- My ribs hurt." Eli said. "How bad is it?" Percy asked. "Really bad." Eli paused and tried to breathe. "I think they're broken." He said. Just then the others came piled into the car while Percy gave Eli half a square of ambrosia. "Eat this, It'll help." He said. Then turned to the others. "Did you get all the monsters?" Percy asked. "Not all." Annabeth said. "But-" A hellhound smashed into the car which shook everyone around. Riley yelled something Percy couldn't make out. probably "Oh my god!" Eli choked on his ambrosia, which did not help his broken ribs. Then the window next to Percy broke, and he had to stay away from the window to avoid being eaten by a hellhound. The monster stuck his face through the window, trying to get a bite on one of us. Eli and Riley took cover where ever they could. Percy aimed his pen at the monster, then uncapped it. The sword grew into full size, right into the hellhound's face, the monster turned to dust. Then the SUV finally started moving, It backed out of the parking space as fast as it could, Then barrelled onto the road. Percy looked behind him a few seconds later, but didn't see any monsters. They we're safe. About an hour later, They were parked on the side of a road in the middle of the country. On either side of the road, Corn grew for miles and miles. "We need a faster way back, Percy decided. "You're right." Annabeth said. "The last thing we need on the way back is more monsters." Percy looked up to the sky. "I think I have a faster way to Camp Half-blood."
Wow, this is just, amazing. I can't believe you take the time to do this. I love it. Just some advice, add a penguin-taur or something [I'm not familiar with greek mythology]. Penguins make everything better. Lol, this is a joke but if you do add it. Awesome, LOL
I've finally finished chapter 5. The reason it took so long is because I had kind of a busy schedule, or I was too lazy to work on it. But I'll try to work on the next chapter faster c: Starring: @ImNotOkayy @KrisKrikken @Caity @Lerh @Excellence_ V EliFighting giants and dogs made of pure darkness was weird enough, but when he saw the winged horses, Eli was sure he was going insane. Maybe the pain near his ribs was making him see things, but Percy assured Eli that he wasn't hallucinating. The horses descended, even though they had wings, their legs still made motions as if they were running. Eli made sure to keep his distance from the horse's hooves. "Hey, blackjack." Percy said to the horse with the black fur, The horse whined. "No, I'll give you some sugar cubes once we get back to camp." Percy said. "You speak horse?" Riley asked. Percy frowned as if that offended him. "Well, kind of." Percy said. "It's a Posideon thing." Riley almost fell over. "A Posideon thing, huh?" He said. Percy smiled. "You know who Posideon is?" Riley looked up as if he was trying to search his brain. "Isn't Posideon the water dude?" Percy chuckled. "Yeah, something like that, I'll tell you more when we get to Camp Half-blood." He swung onto Blackjack's back. Eli looked at the other two Pegasi. "Uh, do I have to-" Annabeth walked over to Eli and Riley. "I'll help you guys." Then she looked at the Romans. "We can take the SUV back to Camp Half-blood, with Coach Hedge of course" Caity said. "But I wanna go with- "Hedge, You can trust them." Annabeth said. Coach hedge looked like he was trying to swallow a gold drachma. "Fine." He said. Lor spoke for the first time since the battle. "But today's friday, and I'll miss capture the flag with them." Lor said. "Actually," Annabeth said. "Chiron told me he moved capture the flag to Saturday, so that the romans could participate, Or spectate." Annabeth said. Percy turned toward the legionnaires. "Thank you guys for helping us." He said. "Well, Raslink said. "I guess I'm gonna invite some legionnaires to find my pilum later." He sighed. Kris patted Raslink's shoulder. "Hey, I'd be willing to help. Raslink's face lit up "Really?" Kris laughed. "No, Come on, we should get going." They all piled into the SUV and drove off. "Bye!" Lor called as the car barrelled down the road. Percy turned to Annabeth who had finished helping Riley and Eli onto Guido's back. "Well, I guess we should get going." He said. And we did, soon Eli was watching towns go by below them. "Days goo by...." Riley hummed as he watched the ground below him, untill he saw the expression on Eli's face, then stopped. After about half an hour of watching Guido's wings go up and down, Eli noticed something really strange. "Is that the Indianapolis speedway?" Eli asked. "How fast are we going?" Percy smiled. I don't know exactly, but it's fast isn't it?" He called. A few hours later, they passed over the large skyline of Manhattan. "We're almost there." Percy said. Behind the forest of skyscrapers Eli could see both the Atlantic ocean and Long Island sound. "We're high up." Riley confirmed. Once they we're above long island, we very slowly began to descend. But when Eli looked in the direction they we're going, he could only see a valley and some strawberry fields. "Where exactly is this Camp Half-blood place you we're talking about?" Eli asked as they dove, so that they we're almost inside of the trees. "You'll see it." Percy said. Eventually, they landed next to a tall pine tree on top of a hill, and I mean a really big pine tree, And on the bottom, a golden coat of fur wrapped around the trunk. And next to the tree... Riley yelled and pointed at what looked like a pile of barbed wires, but when Eli looked closely at it, It was a dragon. "It's okay!" Percy yelled "He's friendly, Um, unless you steal the golden fleece." Percy said. Riley raised his eyebrows. "Is that the golden fleece from those greek myths?" Eli asked. "Yeah." Percy said like it was just a normal fleece "I'm gonna throw up." Riley said. and began to walk over to some bushes "Are you sure?" Percy asked. "No," Riley admitted. "But still." Percy looked down from the large hill they we're on. "Come on." Percy said. "all your questions are about to be answered." I hope you enjoyed this chapter and anticipate more, Constructive criticism is appreciated, And if you want to be in the story, just ask me, I'll see what I can do.
Sneak peak time. Yeah i know, Eli is the only person in this sneak peak thingy, but later in the chapter there will be more people from the forums, Yeah i know i suck at making sneak peaks, but here you go anyway. Not all of Riley's questions were answered. But that's because he had other questions in his head, really stupid ones like: Are we going to die? They walked down the large hill, toward what Percy had called Camp Half-blood. Percy smiled as he walked down the hill, as if he was reunited with a long lost friend. As they got closer, Riley noticed more details, Smoke was rising from the valley, and from the hill he could see all sorts of structures, A large red house, An open roofed pavillion, and a bunch of weird looking buildings. Were those green torches? Once they we're actually in the camp, Riley nearly passed out, No offense to the horse-man hybrid. He was twice as tall as riley, with a Bow and arrows on his back. From the waist up, he was a regular man. but the other half... "Woah!" Riley yelled. "Oh, apologies, I should've talked to you in wheelchair form." The horse-man said. "You have wheelchair form?" Eli asked "Um, Guys?" Percy said. "This is Chiron, Chiron, this is Eli and Riley." Percy said. "Hello, Eli and Riley." Chiron said. "I assume you have a lot of questions to be answered?" Eli smirked. "You think?" He said. "I apologize for the... Intense rescue, but I assure you I will try my best to answer all of your questions." Chiron said. "Come with me." He guestured to the big red house. "Come with me." I hope you people like this <3 Oh and sorry for the double post.
You saved this thread lol After a lot of wait (sorry) I finally got to making the next chapter, I'm sorry if this one kind of bores you, but the ending sure won't ;) But yeah, this is finally the sixth chapter, I might end this thread here, because well, you'll see why. But yeah, I'll try to be less lazy next time and get the chapters done quicker. but here you guys go. Starring: @ImNotOkayy VI RileyNot all of Riley's questions were answered. But that's because he had other questions in his head, really stupid ones like: Are we going to die? They walked down the large hill, toward what Percy had called Camp Half-blood. Percy smiled as he walked down the hill, as if he was reunited with a long lost friend. "Come with me." He said. So according to Chiron, Gods like, the greek gods Zeus, and Aphrodite, and Posideon, came down to earth and had affairs with mortals. Which would make Demigods. according to Chiron, a man with the bottom half of a horse, Riley was a Demigod...? Yeah, it gave him a really big headache. But it did explain why his dad was never around. Even for his birthdays, Maybe he was busy up in Olympus, but still... "So are you ready for the tour?" Percy's voice shook him out of his thoughts. "Yeah. Yeah, sure." Riley said. "You okay?" Percy asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. can we get on with this tour?" Riley asked. "Okay, but if you need anything, just ask Chiron, or me or Annabeth, heck, most of the head counselors are good people." Percy said. "Now let me show you around." Camp Half-blood was amazing. They walked past a volleybal court, where a few kids we're passing the ball over the net, every hit was perfect, but no one scored. "Those guys are like, pros." Riley said. "Yeah, those are some of the Apollo kids." Percy said. They passed all sorts of weird things, like a climbing wall with lava. A huge arena, complete with training dummies and a giant hellhound, which Percy had said that was his friend, even though one had attacked him earlier in Kansas. After fifteen more minutes of walking, they saw the cabins. In an almost complete O, was the weirdest set of buildings Riley had ever seen. He saw one with barbed wires around the entrence, and a red boars head looking down at the entrence, as if it was a guardian. "Those are the Ares kids, Percy said. "They aren't nice at all." Next to the Ares cabin was a building that seemed to be using pure sunlight as a structure, Riley couldn't even look straight at it at first. And after that was basically the same thing Riley saw whenever he stepped into his little sister's room. "Is that Aphrodite's place?" Riley asked, trying not to gag at the newfound smell. "Yeah, it's terrifying, isn't it?" Percy said. And so on and so forth, One was just a regular cabin, like at a real summer camp, Another one was made of Obsidian, with pure green torches. Then they saw Cabin 9. It was made of pure iron, like a bomb shelter. Inside he could see burn marks inside, as if a grenade had exploded. A few campers strolled around inside, all of them we're big and mean looking, but not like the Ares campers that Percy had mentioned. They carried mixed piles of Swords and hammers, as if they'd just gotten done working at a forge. wait a minute. Riley thought. Then he realized this was the Hephaestus cabin. And it looked exactly like the warehouse at his dad's old workplace. When you wen't into the warehouse you could find all sorts of stuff, Anvils, Hammers, Riley's brother had even driven a forklift in that warehouse. It held alot of fond memories. And the hephaestus cabin reminded him a lot of that warehouse. Then an orange light illuminated everything around him as if an explosive had gone off over his head, But the light stayed there. When he looked up he saw an orange glowing symbol, Was that a hammer? The Hephaestus kids swarmed out of the cabin to look at Riley, even Percy was in awe. "Get Chiron." Percy said to one of the Hephaestus campers, who ran off towards the big house. The entire time, Riley was just staring at the symbol in awe. "What does it mean?" He looked at Percy. "I... I think you-" Percy was cut off by the sound of Chiron's hooves. He took an abrupt stop and looked at Riley. "All hail Riley Lathrom, Son of Hephaestus!"
