One of my biggest fears ever.

Okay so I feel like im the only one scared of this. You know when you are casually watching TV or mabye listining to the radio and they you hear BEEP BEEP BEEP *robot voice starts talking*
One of this dumbass EAS (Emergency Alert System) alerts. You know when they warn you about a little thunderstorm or do those useless little tests every week. Its fricken scary. I dont know why its scares me but it does. No matter what it warns you is potentialy going to happen, the freakin beeps and voice creeps the f*** outta me. Anyone else scared of this crap? How do I get not scared of it? I need to find a way. Oh and heres an example-

 

Well atleast they try to warn you. I personally like these types of warnings.


Thankfully for me I don't get that black screen with white letters that interrupt your show. I just get a little bar at the bottom of the screen that gives you the warning. It just mutes the show but it doesn't cover it up xd

I always check out the window in case there is a tsunami.
This scares the crap out of me!

 

It's a warning so you shouldn't be afraid. I used to live in Florida which is a state in the USA surrounded by water. When i heard it i get a little scared like Ayg said. Tsunamis don't occur there but hurricanes, tornadoes, and strong storms do.

I get that too, I was just using an example off the internet. I usually mute the tv or if im too late just hum the song "American Pie" until its over xD

I Kinda dought that. Besides these warnings are required everywhere. And you know its not all just weather, if there was some kind of bomb threat, it would go off.

Dude have you ever heard the terrifying noise?! Its creepy. And dude whats the whole Florida thing about, this magical place sounds cool. Never heard of it.
