Is the server getting DDoSed?

So I was playing some parkour and i was getting really bad ping on the server and everyone was freezing up and when everyone was doing parkour we kept on freezing in the middle of the air because of packets. ItsJerryAndHarry What's going on?

 

Bad lag?

 

Its happening to me too..
Personally, I don't think the server is getting DDoSed because it seems to only happen in Parkour for me :p

 

Could be because of a flow of players joining, considering there are 12 new maps and stuff. Just my thought though, I highly doubt that it was a Ddos.

 

It was me lol.... I blew up 500 stacks of tnt. I recorded it but it was too laggy. I will upload a 1 hour speed of me placing the tnt.

How did you do this In parkour?

 

If The Server Was Getting ddos all the minigames will get down its not just one minigame going down

 

It was in factions. And idk that might of effected the whole server or just factions

 

Don't quote me on this, but I don't believe that it works like that. Parkour is its own server. If you were to blow up TNT in factions it shouldn't affect other servers, like Parkour.
It's most likely just a host problem, but I don't know why it wouldn't effect the entire server if it was.

Do not listen to @Ayg. The server as you guys know it, is basically divided in multiple servers BUT all connected to each other (powered by BungeeCord). If something 'lagg-causing' is happening in Creative1, it only affects Creative1 and no other servers. The server is most likely not getting ddossed since *not sure* all the servers are ddos-protected.

It is probably just lagg because of the amount of players, or the host has poor performance. Of course, it would be nice if an administrator/owner can clarify what exactly the problem is, so no fake rumors get spread.

Lies, that would have half crashed the server, when YolomonsStore exploded 89 stacks a few people crashed, but 5-6 times as much force would crash atleast everyone on factions

The lag issue was fixed yesterday. It was experiencing some technical difficulties but it was not a DDoS attack.
