Hey guys, this is a continuation of my first minecraft story ever. A while ago I made another thread like this, except it wasn't a remake, it was just a minecraft story that I was making, but the thing is, it got no replies whatsoever. It was really weird, and it was long before I made a second chapter to it, but I realized I would bump the thread, and I didn't post the next chapter, so I sort of bagged the idea. But recently I decided I'd give my story another chance. and here it is. People from IJAH will be featured in this story, some have asked (in another thread I made prior to this) and some are just here anyway. But before you read this, read my last one first: http://itsjerryandharry.com/threads/my-first-minecraft-story-the-last-creatives.51213/ (I wouldn't reply to that one now) Now, here it is. The last Creatives Chapter 2: Vertoak City Starring: @John_0696 The first thing I noticed were that the mountains weren't there as I fell. Once my feet landed on the soft grass, I instantly looked up to see where I was. And I figured I had just landed next to paradise. I was standing next to a lake in the middle of the forest next to the mountains. As I slowly turned around, I realized there were Lily pads in the water, every once in a while a bit of land would stretch out into the lake, making it look like the lake was turning into a series of canals, trees stuck out of the water, but it didn't look flooded at all, the trees in the water looked perfectly healthy, all the leaves still stuck to the branches. And behind the lake was a tall cliff that had fresh spring water coming out of the cliff and into the lake. Where the spring water flowed into the lake, bits of I ice were sitting around it. The entire scene was beautiful, It was like a safe haven inside of a horrible winter, but I didn't know if it even was winter. The only ice in the lake looked like it wasn't gonna be there the next day. But then I remembered that I had to find out where I was. I looked around more, trying to get my bearings, What biome is this? what part of the world am I at? am I even in the same world? Questions filled my mind. I was about to just fly up to the top of the mountain when a thought ringed in the back of my mind. what if someone was watching me? As if on cue, a voice shouted "Hey!" Without thinking, I turned to see who it was. The person who'd snuck up on me aimed a bow & arrow at my chest and I figured I probably shouldn't move anymore. "Who are you?" I asked "I was just about to ask the same question, kid." It was a man, he wore a orange and yellow trenchcoat, dark blue jeans, black combat boots, and he had long brown hair. "Well I... I uh..." Then I realized something. I didn't know my name. "You got a ghost in your head or something?" The man asked, still aiming his bow & arrow right at me. My face must've looked pretty stupid judging from the smile on the man's face after he said it "I... -I tried to think of a name- I'm Daniel." I said. Then the man lowered his bow & arrow. "I'm John, sorry I threatened you with my bow & stuff, I never see people out here." He put his bow away. "wait." I said, "What do you mean 'you don't usually see people here'? am I like, in the middle of nowhere?" I asked. I was getting more nervous by the moment. First I fall from the sky, and I don't know who I even am, and I'm probably a hundred miles from the nearest house and I- The sound of John chuckling shook me out of my thoughts "Well, I wouldn't say you're in the middle of nowhere, Just over that cliff- He pointed toward the cliff with the spring of water pouring out of it- "Is Vertoak." "What's Vertoak?" I asked. "Oh it's only the biggest city in the world." John said. "I live there, everyone you meet probably lives there." John grunted as if he'd had this conversation already. Then I made a decision, I could keep walking around with this guy and ask him questions while he gets more and more suspicious of me. Or I can go to Vertoak and ask people questions there, and they hopefully wouldn't get suspicious at all. "Okay, thanks John." I said. I'll be off to Vertoak." "It's that way, John pointed to the cliff again "You told me." "Right." Then I trudged off to where I could hopefully get answers to everything somehow, I could get answers to who I was.
Hey guys, this is the chapter 3 of my story, I really don't have anything else to say, except im trying to make as much happen in a chapter as possible. That way I'm not making my chapters end pointlessly. But I have a lot of Improving to do on that. For now it's just a build up. But I hope you guys stick with me, The plot will really be flowing soon, And if you're wondering where chapter 1 is, well chapter 1 is here: http://itsjerryandharry.com/threads/my-first-minecraft-story-the-last-creatives.51213/ ( wouldn't reply to that, it's old.) But I hope you guys enjoy this chapter! chapter 3: Vertoak city part 2 Starring: @Kazuke As I started my hike up the mountain, I decided I'd go around the cliff and higher up the mountain to get a better view, then I realized how dark the sky had gotten since I landed next to the lake, stars had begun to show in the sky. but the stars faded at one side of the sky, where it turned into a very dark shade of orange. It must be Vertoak, I thought to myself. The higher up the mountain I got, the less pine trees there were, and soon I was trudging through snow. Once the pine trees had officially faded I decided I'd stop going up. I looked down at where I had come from. The lake in which I had landed at turned into a creak that veered around the cliff and into a larger river. And on the other side of the river was Vertoak city. Small buildings- Houses, I assumed -went on for miles, then further away, Larger buildings pointing skywards dotted the land like giant childrens blocks, and the moon was settled above the entire scene, It was beautiful. "That's gotta be Vertoak." I said to myself. But how would I get there? There was a river in the way. 'I could swim.' I thought, but even if I swam across to the city, I would attract a lot of attention. The only easy way to get into vertoak was a beach, which was open to the pulbic from the looks of it, Multicolored umbrellas littered the shore, and people swam around in the river, Either get the entire beach's attention by washing up on the shore, or climb up the dangerous cliffs that were between the river and the city. Than he remembered how he'd gotten down to land in the first place, fly. It was easy, and he figured no one would see him, unless people look up at the sky as a job. then a memory clicked in the back of his mind, probably the first one since he landed. People actually do look up at the sky for a living, and then there it was, vaguely visible thanks to a few houses infront of it. It was an observatory. Flying was no longer an option, and the river looked like it went on for miles. The city might as well be on an island. I was thinking for a solution when something touched the back of my neck. It was cold, sharp, and long, It was a sword. And it was also the second time I got snuck up on in one day. "Who are you?" I asked, as calm as I could. "We're the tree dwellers." Said a rough and growly voice but also a female voice. "What do you mean 'We're'?" I asked. Another voice chuckled behind him. This one sounded younger, a high voice, full of life, but it was a man's voice. "How many of you are there?" I asked. "Atleast fifteen of us, I wouldn't try anything stupid." The lower voice said. I wanted to turn around and see who these people were, but the sword was still pressed against my neck. I couldn't take it anymore. I knew it wasn't a good descision, but I flung out my hand behind me, and tried to hit whoever was behind me I formed my hand into a fist and it connected with what felt like someones face. Then I looked behind me. The man with the sword was holding the spot where I had punched him, and behind him we're fourteen people with bow & arrows aimed right at me. then I realized they didn't know I could fly. And I doubted they could shoot me if I flew fast enough. But I didn't like my chances. "I told you not to try anything stupid." The man said. "Kaz, do we shoot him now?" The younger man asked. "Yes." Kaz said with almost evil smile. "Now we kill him." And at that moment, I came to my senses. I willed myself to fly up as fast as I could. I instantly shot upwards the wind tore my hair around. arrows whizzed below my feet. I didn't care if the people at the distant observatory saw me, right now, I had to get out of here, and into vertoak.
Okay, chapter 4, Sorry for the double post. but this is where we get the plot flowing, I hope you guys like this one, and if you want to be in the story, well that's what this thread is for: http://itsjerryandharry.com/threads/the-last-creatives-charecter-bios.54722/ But I hope you enjoy this chapter. Chapter 4: Answers After all the trouble I ran into, I seriously hoped this day would get better, But so far, It wasn't. First I fall from the sky with no memory, then a strange man threatens me with a bow & arrows, and then i let him leave without asking more questions? 'what was I thinking!?' And then fifteen more people threaten me with more bow & arrows, and not to mention a knife. and this time they actually attack me! atleast I got out of that one alive. Now, where was I? I glided over Vertoak, searching for a good place to land, perferrably unnoticed. Then I saw it. A large stone tower, covered with windows that were outlined with wood. And it was much taller than any of the buildings there. It would be a perfect landing place. I angled my body toward the large building and flew toward glass the roof. Minus the hair constantly slapping my face, it felt amazing to fly. After just a few seconds, I was walking around on the roof of the building, looking for a way in. And soon I found an Iron trapdoor. I had opened it with no problem when i thought of something. Didn't the patch notes say that you couldn't open Iron doors without redstone? Where did that thought come from? I could've sworn I had no memory, I thought to myself, But oh well, as long as I can get into the building without breaking anything. And I hopped down through the trapdoor. I stumbled as I fell in, but quickly got back up to my feet to find ten people looking up from a marble table to stare at me with puzzled expressions. "Uhhh." I tried to think of an excuse to fall from their roof and from the looks of it, interrupt their meeting. "Routine roof maintanence." I said. "Sorry for the interruption." A chorus of relief seemed to echo through the room. Several people lowered their faces in relief, and some actually sighed, I guess they were just thankful that they weren't hallucinating. I was just talking at a meeting when a flying man fell through the roof! I stepped out of the room. and down various sets of stairs. Floor 60, Floor 59, etc. I passed rooms full of cubicles, Various penthouse floors, and many other things, when finally I reached the lobby of the building and stepped out the door. And what I saw took my breath away. Two large roads with grass & trees in between the two roads stretched on for a long time. Buildings pointed skywards on either side of of the road and a sign right before the road said Central Avenue. It was Central alright. I felt like I was in the middle of a city that took up the entire world. But the most stunning sight was the people, they were everywhere. they walked along the two roads, peering into shops, walking in and out of doors. Walking and talking. It was amazing to see so many people crammed into one place. And that was just Central avenue, according to the sign. Then I realized something. Why did I think these people could answer my questions. They we're just regular people, How would they know anyway? Then I saw him, standing in the midst of the crowd and looking at me. It was John. I did a double take, and for a horrible moment, I thought I was hallucinating. Then I saw him again, but he was walking in the opposite direction of me. I had to follow him. I pushed through the hordes of people, If I couldn't dodge people I'd just have to push them aside. I got many angry looks from other people, and one person I'd pushed aside tried to push me back. All the while I still had my eye on John, who was having more trouble fighting against the tide of people. He held one hand on his hat to keep it on, every few seconds he'd bump into someone and yell "Sorry!" but when he looked back at me he went faster for just a few seconds. After more chasing, he finally slipped in between to buildings. I charged after him without looking away. Eventually I made my way to the alleyway he slipped into, just to see a flash of orange and yellow go to the next corner. I followed him through crowds, keeping track of him glimpse after glimpse, when eventually, John ran out of energy. And that's when I ceased my oppertunity. I grabbed his shoulder and made him turn around to face me. "Why were you spying on me?" I growled at him, trying to put as much intimidation into my voice as possible, But he didn't seem scared at all, he registered me calmly, I'll tell you, but not here, come on. He was just about to march off when I asked him "Where?" "To my house." John promised. It isn't far from here We walked peacefully from the Downtown area, to the suburban area of the city, which John said was called the Riverside district. After passing all sorts of houses, we finally reached John's house. which was on the end of Riverside Parkway. "Here it is." John said, as if he'd accomplished a life-long goal to get us here. I stepped inside, It was small, but it was still enough to live in by a longshot, The floor was a basic light-gray wool carpet, and the rest of the interior seemed to be wooden, Wooden walls, wooden counters, But I liked it. "Take a seat." John guestured to a table flanked by two simple seats, I sat in one. and john marched off to the Kitchen on the other side of the room. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Oh, nothing. just making a sandwich with a bomb in it." John said casually. For a moment i blinked, too stunned to say anything. Then John started laughing. "I had you there for a second!" I rolled my eyes. "Can we please cut to the chase here? You said you we're spying on me for a reason, that's true right?" I said. "Yeah, sorry. I'm John Winston, of the Vertoak military. And you're Riley. A creative. I'm sorry for the cliff hanger, but if you read any of the other chapters, I try my best with cliff hangers. replies or likes are appreciated, as that's how I know I can make another chapter for you guys, but I hope you enjoyed this, and anticipate a new chapter.
Chapter 5! Im planning on putting in even more new charecters next chapterThis is the longest one yet, and I plan to make longer. Idk if I really will yet, but I might. And sorry if this is considered a slight bump, and a triple post.... At least I'm getting a few likes, right? Atleast I know people are looking at this. And I post every few days so that isn't technically spam is it, staff? But anyway, here's chapter 5. Chapter 5: I join the Military. Starring: @John_0696 @AndyTheCow "What's a creative?" I asked, mesmerized by the question. John had almost said it as if it was... Dangerous. "There are 3 kinds of people in the world of minecraft." John said. "Adventurer, Survivalist, and Creative. Adventurer is the most common in this world, They can't break blocks, but if they're given blocks, they can build with them. Survivalists, can break blocks, gathering resources, they're the ones that made this city, and they discovered caves, and minerals. one of which we now use as a currency. Creatives. Creatives are the rarest kind of people, they can summon blocks out of existance without gathering them, they can break any block instantly, even bedrock, They can fly, and... They're invincible." John said. I almost choked. "Invincible?" "Yes, I'm pretty sure you're invincible." John said. he looked at me grimly, but his hands still concentrated on making dinner. "You saw me fly." I said, careful not to look at him. "Yeah, I did." John said. "So why did you follow me into Vertoak?" I asked. Because I've been looking for you, In fact, the entire Vertoak Military has been looking for you." He said. Why are they looking for me?" I asked. This was just getting worse and worse. "I can't say that here." John said. He suddenly looked around the room, as if there was someone watching us. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Nothing." John went back to making dinner "Dude, what's happening here?" I asked. "The Vertoak Military will tell you everything when we go to Fort Ivan tomorrow." He said. "Wait we're going to the Vertoak Military?" "Yes, Like I said, they'll tell you everything when we go there tomorrow." I sighed. "Okay." I sat on one of the chairs, bored out of my mind for a few minutes. "Dinner's ready!" John yelled, even though I was well within hearing distance. "Why are you telling me?" I asked. "Because you've gotta eat, dude." He said. "Just because you're a creative doesnt mean you can't eat, here." He gave me a plate with a simple sandwich and grapes on it. and then gave me a glass of water. When I looked down at my sandwich I realized how hungry I was, and within less than a minute, I was done. "More." I said. And I got more. After that I decided I'd go to sleep in one of John's extra bunk beds upstairs I straightened the blanket on the bed out. Wait, Why had I done that? Had I lived in a home one day? I decided I'd think about it later. When I was done making my bed, I noticed something that I really should've seen earlier. "John? I called downstairs, and within seconds he was standing next to me. "What? What is it?" Then he followed my gaze. "Is that orange hair on the sheets?" I asked. "Oh, that's nothing." John said, brushing off the bed. "It's just something and old friend did." I was wondering what friend would be cruel enough to put so much hair on a bed like that when John said "Goodnight." "Yeah, see you tomorrow." I laid down on the bed and fell asleep. I woke up to a loud bell and John yelling "Wakey Wakey!" He held his phone in his hand and tapped the screen, a bell noise then came from the phone. "Well you're in a festive mood." I grumbled. "Well yeah, only about an hour before the helicopter comes to pick us up." John said, still ringing the bell on his phone. I decided not to ask questions about the helicopter because I figured I'd just get "They'll explain everything when we get there." "Oh and here." John gave me a pack of what looked like folded clothes. "You can put these on, I'll be waiting to go downstairs." By the time I got downstairs I had on an camouflage Army jacket, under that was a simple dark green T-Shirt. I also had tan Khaki's and a pair of John's combat boots (I swear he has some sort of stash of those things) As soon as I was downstairs John said "Wow, you look like a Vertoak military general, Minus all the ribbons on your shirt." "Uh, thanks I guess." John grabbed his orange and yellow trench coat and put it on. "To the vertoak city Airport we go." He said The ride there was interesting. yes, ride not walk. we made our way to the Riverside mine cart station. and then rode through the city via minecart. On one side of me was Riverside district, and on the other was Downtown Vertoak. and rather than steering toward downtown, downtown steered toward us. small houses turned to large office buildings. and soon we were at the Old City station. and from there we took another minecart across the river, and to the airport. we went to gates, We were about to pass through the metal detectors when John held up something to the guard. "Vertoak city military," John said. It was a badge. "Can you let us through?" "Hmm, I'm gonna have to scan your badge first." The guard stepped back and took something out of his pocket. It looked like a simple price scanner, but it was bigger, and the entire thing was sleek black. The guard pressed a button on his device and a light from the device shone red on John's badge. It flashed green with a positive beep! then the guard turned it off. "Clear." He said He gestured to two armed guards to come our way, and at first I thought we were doomed, then the first guard turned off the metal detector and the other two stood on either side of it to make sure no one else got through. Then we stepped thorugh. After making our way through the dreaded queue, We stepped out onto the airfield where planes touched down and took off, as did helicopters. After waiting around on the asphalt for at least half an hour, a helicopter flew toward the airport, Bigger and faster than the other small utility helicopters. I read a small label on the door of the helicopter. ZH-70 SHEPARD #11045 "Is that our ride?" I asked, staring in awe at the helicopter that touched down on the asphalt. "You bet it is." John smiled. The helicopter's roders stopped moving. and the door slid open. A man stepped out of it. wearing almost the same clothes as me. He had the same camoflage military jacket as me, and the same combat boots. But he had camouflage pants too, and under his jacket was a black shirt, instead of a green one. He shook John's hand and then turned toward me. "I'm sergeant Andy Davis of the Vertoak military, Nice to meet you." He said, but he didn't sound at all like he meant it. He held out his hand and I shook it. "We're taking you guys to Fort Ivan, one of Vertoak military's biggest bases. I hope you like bumpy rides, because this helicopter isn't exactly a smooth rider." Andy smiled, this time it was a real smile. Then me and John stepped into the chopper. We flew over Vertoak city and Andy was right about the chopper, it might as well be a sports car driving over large rocks, it was bumpy. We glided high over Vertoak, and I swear we could see the entire world from up here. the Riverside district seemed small, and the land outside of the city was even more breathtaking, On the opposite side of Downtown, the city ended, and turned into a desert, then in the distance was the start of a forest. And even the mountain I landed next to seemed small. Then I saw the airfield of Fort Ivan. Hangars dotted one side of the airfield, and on the other, it looked like Barracks, and between the barracks and another large building, it's purpose unknown, was what I though was a watchtower. The helicopter slowed down and then came to a stop on one of the Helipads. Then we stepped out of the helicopter. Credit to my bro @StrigonThree for thinking of the helicopter name (ZH-70 Shepard) And feel free to give your opinion on the story, Constructive criticism is appreciated!
