Forum Follow 4 Follow

On a lot of social networks, people request F4Fs, or Follow 4 Follow, which means that person will follow the person they are asking and that person would follow them back. So I was thinking, why not do it on the forums! Attention staff members! If you do not like this thread, please let me know or lock it. I will be locking this thread after 3 months or 300 replies.

I'm sorry but this is just stupid

F4F is done on websites like Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube etc, because the purpose of those websites is to be very popular and have lots of followers.
On this forum follows don't mean anything because the amount of followers you have doesn't change shit about your reputation because I'm pretty sure people don't go to everyone's profiles just to check their followers count and judge them.

In here, following other people is for:
1. showing that you guys are friends
2. knowing that the other person is online (by seeing their profile picture in the online users thing)

Also I'm pretty sure most of the people here won't follow any user just to increase their followers count. At least I won't because why would I follow someone I don't like/don't know?
