Hello so my math teacher is giving us these logic puzzels, I got two of the three done, but I cant for the life of me solve this one.
    Maybe yall can help me.
    please answer everything in full
Five parents, all potential blood donors, are waiting in the doctor's surgery and are siFng on the bench from le; to right. Can you determine the position of each patient along with their blood group, age, height and weight?

    Their ages are 5, 9, 30, 46 and 60.
    Their heights are 40, 48, 60, 65 and 74.
    Their weights are 40, 75, 96, 125 and 165.
    EXTRA CLUES:
    • The person on the far right is 37 years older than Jason, and is 60 inches tall.
    • Jason weighs 56 pounds more than his height.
    • Alan weighs 75 pounds and is 74 inches tall.
    • John is type AB and weighs 56 pounds less than Jason.
    • The person in the center is 9 years old, is blood type AO and weighs 96 pounds.
    • Adam, who is the first, is 65 inches tall, and weighs 100 pounds more than his height.
    • The person who is blood type O, is 25 years older than the person to the le; of them.
    • Kevin is 60 years old.
    • The person who is blood type A, is 55 years younger than Kevin and is not next to the person who is type AO. • The person who is next to the 9 year old but not next to the person who is 65 inches tall, is blood type B, and weighs 125 pounds.

Jason: 9 years old, 40 inches, 96 pounds, AO
    Alan: 30 years old, 74 inches, 75 pounds, O
John: 46 years old, 60 inches, 40 pounds, AB
    Adam: 5 years old, 65 inches, 165 pounds, A
    Kevin: 60 years old, 48 inches, 125 pounds, B

There is really no logic behind the answers, but this is what I got.

You make charts for each of the four categories. Except I didn't do it with the blood types, rather I filled in the blood types as i went along.
Then make Xs or Os for each spot in each chart as you go along with the Os as being right and the Xs as being impossibilities. Sometimes it's not straight forward, but you have to be logical and think.

Um so I was really bored so here's detailed another way to do it that should explain it all .3.
Basically what I did was create a 6x6 table and a separate 5 empty boxes that will be filled out later. With the table, I labeled the top spaces with the categories (height, weight, blood, location, and age) with the names to the side of it. After that, by looking at the first hint, it says the last person is 60 inches tall. With that information, I put it underneath the fifth blank box. The age portion of the hint will be used later as we don't know Jason's age yet, but it can still be written down underneath the blank box if your memory sucks. Anyway, with the second given hint, it states Jason's weight is 56 more pounds than his height. If you add 56 to any of the given heights, the only (height) match that corresponds with any of the supplied weights is 40 inches. Now that you have the height for Jason, you can fill that out on the table AND add 56 to 40 to get his weight, which is 96 pounds (also record this in your table). The third hint gives you straightforward information that you can plug into your table without any hassle. The fourth hint says John weighs 56 pounds less than Jason; Jason's weight is 96, so 96 - 56 is 40. You can now write John's weight and blood type, which are AB and 40 pounds. The fourth hint says the person in the center weighs 96 pounds, which means Jason's in the middle, 9 years old, and has blood type AO (you should put this data into your table as well). The fifth hint states Adam's the first person, weighing 100 more pounds than his height (65 inches), which means he's 165 pounds. Record this data too. After that, the sixth hint will be saved for later once we have the other people's locations listed so that it's easier. The seventh hint once again divulges straightforward information: Kevin's age (60 years). The eighth hint expresses that the person who is NOT next to the middle person (or the person with AO [Jason]) has type A blood and is 55 years younger than Kevin (60 - 55 = 5-years-old). We already know that the last person is 37 years older than Jason, who's 9 years old, meaning the possibility of the person with type A blood being last is not probable, since 46 > 5. This gives us proof that the person with type A blood is Adam, since he's not next to Jason or in the last position. The final hint says the person next to the 9-year-old (Jason) but not next to the person whose height is 65 inches (Adam) is blood type B and weighs 125 pounds. With process of elimination, you're able to see that Alan is second, with a blood type of B and weighing 125 pounds. Now, back to the sixth hint, which states the person O is 25 years older than the person to the left of them. By looking through the given ages, you'll be able to see that the ages 5 and 30 are exactly 25 years apart. Adam, who's 5 years old, is to the left of Alan. What this says is that Alan's 25 years older than the person to the left of him (Adam), which means he's 30 years old. Now that you have all of that information down, any excess information that wasn't put down will be obvious with process of elimination.
lol what am i doing with my life

I love these kinds of puzzles. I also have an app (on iPhone) called cross logic. It's pretty much advanced sudoku.

I'm pretty sure there's only one answer and Lila got it correct xD.
I remember doing these puzzles in 7th grade when I was in algebra 1; They're really just word problems but a bit more difficult. For the most part it's just plugging in numbers
