    People can change into your old username impersonating you
    than that person loses his username to another guy
    and so on

    A never ending impersonation chain.

    No, if your original in-game name hasn't been change then other players can't use your original name.

    Well, I've tried changed my name to all people's original names who already changed their name, and it says "taken" all the time.
