How come now when you report someone they get a warning instead of a right away ban/mute? How many warnings does a guy need to be banned? Also staff if you think this is abusive to the community, lock it i don't care, I am just curious because i have been reporting people and all the staff says i will give them a warning. Can tell me what is a verbal warn? P.S: I am going to TeamSpeak
A verbal warning is for example Staff member: You are warned. Member: But I don't have any warnings. Staff member: This is a verbal warning. So a verbal warning is something that can't be viewed. A staff member will inform you but not actually give you a warning
Thats maybe because they got a warning. You can't see other's warnings but you can see your own. /warnings
Gameplay issues: (cheating/grefing) is a tempban. If you notice only mods handel those reports. Chat issues: (spamming,URL,IP,Harassment,Caps Abuse, Profanity) is a warn which is administerd by the /warn plugin. /warn will increase its impact everytime a /warn is assessed to your person. This makes it so a first offence is a minor punishment, as people might get what they did was not allowed by the rules. However if you get more warns your punishment increases.
As stated above, We have a system that automatically does the punishment for us. It depends on how much warning point the player has. More warning points = higher punishment. The first warning is a kick, that basically means 'watch out'. A warning point disappears after 1 month. Warn is mostly used on chat-related issues. If you want to see how many warning points you currently have, You can use the '/warnings' command. It'll display how much warning points you have. You can get more than 5 warnings but at 5 you will be tempbanned. Spam/Caps: Warning Hacks: It is a tempban, not 8 months, not even a month. It depends how many times they were banned for it. Profanity: Verbal warning or a warning as you said Mini-Modding: Depends in what case it is sometimes on the forums it CAN lead to a warning. Advertising: Warning, as you said. Greifing: No, they are not going to get banned as it is the owner's fault for adding them in the first place. Redstone clock: Tempban as you said Inappropriate builds: It will be removed and they will get tempbanned actually. Inappropriate clubs: Removal and tempban as well. Inappropriate minigames: Removal and tempban
IMO people that are not staff members need to stop replying to these threads with every single rule and punishment without confirming the information. Many people are clearly giving out wrong information. Some people see the wrong info and then never look at the forums ever again. Please check your info completely before replying. Thank you.
