Hey guys, I just finished making a new song, so please check it out if you have time! :D (The URL is a fan of OSU apparently XD)
Thanks Mcc, and yes, of course you can use this in Fiveflags! Just as long as you give me credit, I'm perfectly fine with that. c:
What did you use to make this? (I have music making software too but I mostly use it for covering BRODYQUEST XD)
Thank you! Also, yes, I do. I've been playing piano for about five years. Thanks! :D <3 Ummm... You download the software. Then you make a new track. Then you put notes down on the track. Yay! XD Thank you! And it looks similar to a program you use at school? What an odd conspiracy coincidence... Also, I listened to your music, and I must say that it is very well done, and much better than mine XD Do you (or does anyone) have any constructive criticism? It would be very much appreciated, so that I could further improve my music. In my opinion, my transitions were a bit weak, and sometimes the instruments were overwhelming and a bit, "blurry", if you will. (it was hard to mix) Do you agree with those points, or maybe have any of your own? Thank you! :)
Thanks! Well, even though it was sorta mentioned in the video, I dont know all the "instruments" used in it. Usually the mixing of it is done within the software I assume? The beginning bit of the song was actually very cool, but I don't get the faster or really fast bits o.O sounded weird but cool haha. I guess to keep working on different bits and it will sound really cool, obviously I'm not the best judge as I make sounds, not record them :L
Well, yes, the mixing was done within the software. It was hard to put each instrument to a good volume so that they all harmonized well but one didn't overpower the others throughout the whole song. And with the faster bits, like I said, the transitions were sort of weak, so I didn't really do a good job of switching from one part of the song to another. I guess you don't really have too much to say, but thank you! c: EDIT: Also, the instruments used were the piano, the harp, two sets of violins, a koto, and I know it SAYS melodica, but I changed the sound of the melodica to be a vibraphone instead. A koto is a plucked string instrument similar to the harp, and a vibraphone is similar to a xylophone/glockenspiel.
Ahh ok, well the only thing I can recommend once you've fully finished a song, is to Master it. Mastering improves all the little parts of a track, balances things out and generally makes it sound better. Problem is you would need another software to do it
Holy...*Speechlessness* I knew you played the Piano, but I never knew you could produce awesome songs :D Truly good job. You know what this needs? It needs some Violas Drums. Or some type of Viola percussion.
