A lot of times I will go to the lobby and ask a helper a question and they just send me off to a mod on a different server who can help me. So its not always the player asking the staff to do /mods just sometimes the questions/problems can only be answered by a mod or higher.

Uhh pretty sure Rockor was the one commissioned to do most of that.
    No I don't.

Yeah I do, it's unfair and stupid as I already mentioned.

Btw I, and most others, can read without you needing to use caps and larger letters :)

This is the reason why /mods was taken away in the first place.

    Here..
    With all due respect.. no.
What I seem to understand that you're saying is that its a stupid rule for spam to not be allowed.
I disagree with you for many reasons.
First of all, spam creates lag. Not just simple lag, lag as in all around the server, lag backs, glitches and so on. You can't say its stupid to prevent that. If the server doesn't prevent that, it could lose a bunch of players, not just players, it could possibly go down because of everyone spamming everywhere and all around.
Second of all, there is no purpose. Just like many people said on this thread, staff aren't "Gods". They are just humans (same as you,) on a server (same as you again,) who just have a bit more responsibility to take. They're job is to help people out and prevent things, like spam. It makes it hard if a staff has 52 messages all at once if they're trying to solve a problem.
Lastly, there is no meaning in spam, its rude and pathetically immature. No offense, I just think its stupid to be able to send the same freaking message, over and over again. Its irritating and as I said before, creates lag.

    Sorry but, not sorry.

    This is a big issue
Staff should be able to warn those stalkers

Firstly, "spam creates lag" lol you made my night.

Secondly, I'm not saying spam should be allowed, I'm saying the punishments are harsh, stupid and unfair.

    I disagree again!
Punishments only get harsh if you keep doing the same thing over and over again.
Theres nothing wrong with getting a warning, everyone gets them once in a while.
Still, I feel that's not true. A couple warnings, to a kick, to a mute, and so on isn't bad.
It's just you making negative choices that like to take a charge back on you, its called karma.

Honestly, why make a big dramatic deal about this.

If you get "Stalked" on the server, you should've at least expected it from time to time when you signed up for the position. I mean cmon, players ask questions all the time, and they need staff to assist them. Most of the time when im on the lobby and five staff members are also on, a player or myself have to answer the question because all the staff are socializing, ignoring, or afk. This results in players searching for staff, and even sometimes personally annoying or spamming staff to get attention. Certain staff members ignore players' questions. It really actually makes me annoyed myself when someone asks a question and I have to step in and answer when there are 3 or 4 staff on. Now Im also not saying all staff members do this, because I know some pretty bae staff members that are really hard workers <3

But yeah, expect spam and stuff. You signed up for it.

Karma has nothing to do with this. I'm not sharing my opinions on the spam punishment for my own personal gain. I don't go on the server nor have any warnings there. I'd just like there to be less unnecessary warnings given out for things like spam, and ultimately more fairness.

Okay, I don't want to cause any flame.
I'm simply saying my opinion, just as you did.
    I appreciate your understanding.
    Thanks,

I'm with President Bacon on this! The pubishments are a bit harsh. Well yeah they spam staff members. So?? If they have a question it should be okay. Also as mentioned before, many people don't have forum accounts so they shouldn't get warned for just asking. Also if there is only one staff member online what should people that need help do?? It'll be even worse if they are afk. Pres is right. If I have a question and I ask a staff member 5-10 times and he/she doesn't respond I should get warned for spamming??

You really think they applied to get spammed?? They applied to help but spam is something they have to cope with

I do kind of think its unfair that someone gets a warning if they just need help ASAP..
I mean there are those rare moments when there isn't that much staff on but, it doesn't happen
    all the time.

You have the wrong take on this.

I am not saying that they will apply to get spammed, im saying they applied with the knowledge that they would get spammed from time to time. They dont apply and say "Oh ill be fine nobody will spam me or ANYTHING" they know it will be at least a bit spamming.

    Lol

But its true, lila and a few others at least work. :3

I don't really see the need to make this such of a big deal but alright. Everybody should understand that the rules apply to everyone. Stop means stop universally; just because a staff member says it, it doesn't mean a "normal" player can't say it as well. The harassment rule is enforced everywhere and if someone is getting stalked or bothered, even after asking them to stop, then it's essentially harassment. Also, we do understand that we signed up for the volunteer work, and I'm sure we also do realize it does come with additional "stalkers." We also do know that helping and supervising is a part of our job, and if we fail to do that, then take it up with Dao or Willy. If someone needs help, we should answer, and frankly I wouldn't consider questions or curiosity as bothersome messages. All that we (or Devin, really) were trying to state was that the urge to follow us around, occupy our time with extraneous messages that have nothing to do with needing help or anything necessary, and simply disallow us to focus on our job and help others who actually need it is quite aggravating. I've been in numerous scenarios where I've been helping out more than one player, then have another random player come to me and say "lol I just killed all of those noobs in warzone" right when I was sending the message of assistance to another player. If you guys see that we're busy, then please save your message for later when we seem to be free. I'm sure that we would love to socialize with you after we've successfully helped a player out. Additionally, if you think the punishments are too harsh, please don't hesitate to take that up with higher staff or something. We are currently trying to be a bit more lenient with issuing punishments, meaning we give more verbal warnings than formal ones. In this case, if this harassment is persistent even after being told to stop numerous times, it'd be a warning. This applies to both "normal" players and staff members, just to clear that up. I do understand that you guys might not be able to access the forums or report players easily, but naturally ignoring the player works fine in most cases. In some cases, as I said, it becomes more persistent and results in the offender receiving a warning point.
I do apologize if you are having issues with this thread, but I and others would be pleased to help/discuss with you about them.

P.S. This thread might've come off as bias and only applied to staff members, but it also applies to "normal" members too. Equality is important even if it's not blatantly obvious or shown within the text. Apologies if it came off the wrong way. :)

Sorry if this was really long it's just that I have strong feelings about this. :P

Okay, I just don't want to change the subject too much..
I feel like most staff are within the same timezone.. maybe staff could become more active at different times?
I don't mean to say that they aren't doing their job or anything, I just mean that frequently there are times where there is almost no staff on a server and people need there to be.

Thats why people like @Audrey_Is_Here were promoted. I think the staff knows this issue however they need to find people that are "staff material"
