Parents always say that stuff. That's just to get you to focus all your attention on studies and become a doctor when you grow up. Pressuring your kid never really makes them a doctor.
My older sister grew up without a computer and was pressured her entire life ever since she was 8. She is now a doctor and goes to a university for free because she has 110% in all of her classes.
