    Why follow for follow? It just shows that you are here to ' be popular ' which many people were trying to do. Follow people you like, and let people who like you follow you back. If you are a good person and you're kind to people, you should get follows in no time. As @WikiRigbyDude said it defeats the point of following people you genuinely like.

    First off, you guys don't need to 'mock' and 'provoke' him for making the thread. That is just completely unneeded and rude.
    Next, this thread really isn't necessary. People follow who they want, such as if you wanted to follow me. That wouldn't require me to follow you back.
