Your username: CAG2PlaysMC (I recently switched accounts) In which minigame/server does the bug occur: Skyblock (ALL) Detailed description of bug: When you do /is home, all hostile mobs whether you like it or not despawns. I find this annoying and helpful at the same time, say when you're getting chased by a billion spiders, just do /is home. However in a mob grinder, do /is home and all the mobs are gone.
Nice catch. However, it poses as an advantage, but as a disadvantage as well. I don't think you'd get chased by that many spiders in just one night. FYI.
Will I think it's a bug becuz there was a zombie chasing me so I did /is spawn and then /is home and it's still there and I think it's just that if the animal is untamed it will go away but not iron golem
When the ISLAND OWNER uses /is home, every hostile mob despawns, I think that's what you meant, but like @Theminer30 said, it's a good advantage, it might be annoying sometimes but it's very good to have if you don't have a peaceful island that's well lit.
its actually not a bug, when you leave your island the chunks are unloaded and mobs actually no longer exist or fall into the void
Well... If I'm on the island it teleports me to somewhere on my island, and since I'm the island the chunks don't unload so that's impossible. However nice catch, might be something to do with the chunks. Hmmmm...
I'm pretty sure this isn't a bug and it's used as a way to reduce lag. I think this is either to do with the chunks reloading, or it's something that has been purposefully set up on the server. -={EDIT}=- I doubt it's the chunks reloading, as it happens even if there is another person on your island
Does this include animals despawning. if so, then this might be a bug, just contact a staff member, or if you have any mods, they could have a virus so i would remove them.
It wouldn't be a virus, if animals were despawning, it would most likely be a bug in a plugin or something they can easily fix. I'm sure they have good virus protection. Animals don't despawn. It's only hostile mobs.
