Why are these skins so common?

    I see that emo hair on soooooo many skins, and I just don't understand why.

    there's only 3 categories in mc skins:

    boy skins
    girl skins
    random skins (animals, items, etc)

    That isn't emo hair. That hair just looks cool. People on minecraft want to be portrayed as cool, so they use that hair.

    They're called bangs. There is no such thing as emo hair. There are many varieties of hair emo people have, but not just one type of hair.
