For le post farmours

This thread is more of my own opinion on post farming, but whatever.


What is the point of post farming? I don't see one. Honestly when i see a user with a lot of posts but barely any likes, I know they're a farmer. But why?

Why farm? It is useless. In fact, it Is only embarrassing, and the reason why?
Comparing a user's post count to their likes.

If a user has a lot of posts, and a lot of likes, they are probably users who really commit themselves to the community. If a user has more likes than posts, that probably tells you that user has something the rest of the community doesn't.

But why post farm? If you see that, say, you have 600 messages but only 4 likes, that really says something about them. It says something about their content.

I personally think post count does not matter, and the post to like ratio says something about that user.

I KNOW THEY ARE JUST NUMBERS----which brings another reason to post farming being useless...

Hmm, based on this a lot of people here have spammed. The thing is, that was before, now a lot of people are making much more efficient and useful threads. Anyway, at the end of the day all of these are just numbers. No more no less.

Sometimes it probably means that they posted a lot of things that state their opinion and a lot of people probably didn't agree with them. Or it probably means that they just like posting. xD

 

I think my like to post ratio is alright. But I agree.

I'll be honest here, I used to be a huge-ass post farmer. I am getting somewhat quiet in comparison to what I used to be like.
Meh.

As you can see, I have a post:like ratio of 2:1. That ain't good. I am trying to limit myself from posting unnecessary things people could care less about.

 

My like-post ratio is awful. What? I know, it contributes nothing, but it had to be said.
