Moderator In Training :)

Hello once again! :D
Recently, I have viewed a couple of threads that I've found to be harsh or needed attention from a moderator/staff member. Now, I am not stating the names of the people who posted these threads for the reasons of their protection, and it would not be appropriate. I have decided that I want to apply to be a moderator, however I know that I am not fully ready to apply. Some encounters and experiences have made me realize that I want to be a moderator. I especially created this thread, not for attention, but for your guidance and opinions. This thread is where anyone, anyone at all, can post any conflict, opinion, statement, or anything really that they need help with. I believe it will help me grow and prepare for when I apply and if I do get accepted to be a moderator/staff member. So, if any of you reading this need help with any problem involving the server, or your life outside the server, you can ask me. Now if it is a serious problem such as a ban appeal, report decision, etc. I will do my best to help, but do remember I am not a moderator yet. I hope to help many visitors in the future and to grow as a helper. Thank you. :)

Get to know the members. Be active. As a staff member, you need to have something that stands out from everyone else. Get to know the community. That is all I suggest to you.

Not many people really know you yet, spend a few more months making actual posts xD and we will all get to know what kind of a person you are and if you are good staff material. So no, I don't think you are quite ready to apply.

 

I know :) That's why I created this page, to get to know people. I am also spending more of my time on the server now to interact with other players and too help them. Thank you for your honesty :D @Ninjaman4646

 

Hang around random spam for a while.
Keep an eye on threads in server discussion.
Befriend staff.
Boom, you now are one step closer to becoming staff (befriending staff meaning you know what they do)

You have to communicate with us in some way and like get our attention so that we consider you for staff

 

As Lidia stated, the first important thing is to be active on the forums and the server so people know you

 

first of all, can you even apply for mod o_o

second, pretty much what rockor said.

 

Don't come in to the community being smart or trying to get things to change. Don't go against current beliefs, of you will get shot down like a hog out of an airplane.

That should get you through your first night.
