OITC...

So today I've returned to OITC and played a few games.

I've taken some tests on myself and I learned that I'm only a good sport when I'm in a skype call with someone. When I am talking to someone, I don't rage as often.

When I am alone, especially against teamers, I do rage, but silently in my head. If it keeps going, I eventually swear under my breath, then if it keeps going, I eventually accuse the person of hacking. It just shows that OITC isn't good for me. It brings anger in my life, and I don't like feeling angry anymore.

But I like the game so much. A small percent of some of my best friends play the game, and I enjoy it too. It's an action-packed fun game that is enjoyable.

This is why I need some feedback.

I enjoy the game, but it makes me angry while I am playing...

I don't want to quit, but if this keeps happening, I might eventually do so. Please don't post comments like "It's just a game, don't get mad" because I already know you're going to say that. Is there a way I can basically play the game without getting angry? I only have a few friends on skype that are willing to play oitc with me.

After playing oitc and torturing myself, I went back to playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and eventually bought Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs.

I wish I hadn't... I rarely play a machine for pigs because it's not as "fun" as the dark descent. I basically threw away money.

I seriously need help with this OITC problem.

Kuzon, your not alone. I, too, rage at oitc. That's why I don't play often (that, and the annoying aimbot and kill aura hackers). I kinda don't know how to help you, since I have the same problem, just don't feel alone, cuz people like me rage in oitc too ;)

 

Yeah, everyone rages. You aren't alone on this one. I rage myself, sometimes. When it happens, just go on a server where no one knows you and do some pvp there. That's what I do, and I wreck kids that I'll never see again. It's a good feeling. Afterwards I get off the computer for a while, maybe like a half hour, then come back to OITC. Seems to work well for me. My personal experience is the best feedback I can give you buddy.

 

It's alright because I rage too. Many of the thinks that you said I do to. I just go on another server or mini game like beef said. Just take some time out. Ok we all like oitc but sometimes the fun is ruined by hackers and stuff.

 

I rage too Kuzon. You just can't hear me in the Skype call :p. I get angry at those hackers and wonder how their life is but that's besides the point. I play even more MC to take my mind off of it.

Alright i never rages that is a thing for sure (it might be my age idk) but ofcourse i can get mad everyone can that and when im starting to get mad i play most of the times better anyway i dont get mad quick , to make me mad you need lots of harrasers or a few hackers who are too quick that i cant record them or just a few other reasons

Anyway kuzon even you said to not post commants like its just a game i wil still say it its just a game and if it doesnt work how you want than go off your computer and take some fresh air thats what i do aswell like hang with some friends really help :D
Ohh and why you didny tagg me in the friend list we skyped lots of the times aswell in skyblock and oitc (and if i downloaded skype earlyer probally paintball aswell)

 

You mean the pleasure of killing Servant Grunts, Brutes, Kaernks and sometimes Fluttersuitors in Amnesia: The Dark Descent?

It ok to rage I e don't it before and and broke my f key so I can't swear. I more God dam it

 

I've decided to go to controls and turn my chatting key to a different key, so when I decide to rant at my enemy by trying to talk, the button is disabled.
