What computer would you get with a $1,200 budget?

I just want to know what you guys would get :p

Other accessories like microphones, headsets, mouses, whatsoever don't count in the budget

Desktops only

I would buy really crappy and old computers that way when I get angry at something I can throw it out the window and no one would care.

Seriously, I would get an alienware gaming computer so that I could play minecraft with like 100 fps.

 

Custom.
It's more cheaper, and you can do what you want with it and make it as powerful as you want with any different types of tools and parts.

Instead of just going with 'Alienware', I'm giving a list of parts that I'm using in my next build, which I think should be $1200:

Intel Xeon 1230 v3
GTX 970
Enthoo Pro
B85-G43 Gaming Edition
8GB 1600Mhz memory (might get 16GB later down the road)
840 EVO 120GB
1TB Caviar Blue

That computer should easily handle any everyday computing task you throw at it, as well as a few extreme ones.

 

To be honest get a computor that's around 1000 and get a 200 video card to raise fps

 

You can't go wrong with a Commodor 64
