Wow, that title was long. Anyway, you should probably simplify it to something like "A Meeting, and a Parting".

Also, good job so far, this still looks like it will go on for a bit. and I'm in queue

 

Chapter 5: The Great Getaway from Alcatraz and Memories.

Before I begin, I apologize for not giving this yesterday, I was grounded for the day and had no chance to post this, and further apologies for it being short. I'll get the rest of Chapter 5 in today. Enjoy I suppose.

Back at Alcatraz, fire and smoke was seen amongst the horizon. Yells and screams were heard, in contrast to the calm and content state it was before Shadow left to save the distressed sense he felt, of whom turned out to be Kitty. In fact, from the looks of it, most of them had similar weapons to that of those who fought Sera back at the forest. Gunshots were heard; screams of agony and insanity were louder than ever. Descending down onto a fair distance away from the prison, Shadow laid Kitty gently on the ground where nobody could reach without the ability to fly. Afterwards, Shadow flew the remaining distance to Alcatraz and saw a beat up Sera. Cuts and bruises were visible, and blood was splattered all around her poor, unconscious body. Jordan was killing and shooting people around, while Claire ubercharged Mappy, using a gun that was called a “Soda Popper.” Shadow flew by Jordan and formed a sniper rifle using powers of darkness, and asked what was going on while shooting the invading corrupt ones. “What the hell is going on? How did they get past the sharks that surrounded the damn prison?” “There are millions of them; they probably used some of their own as a distraction while killing off the sharks. Plus, we don’t have guards with skills of a bouncer… Or any for the matter of fact.” “Damn it, how are we going to retreat? Kitty is asleep after… Events… And Sera doesn’t seem to be conscious…” “You flew from an uncharted island probably miles away with a girl on your back; we have five people including myself, who can probably carry one girl. Two is probably needed at the least. The other 3 can probably fend off those assholes and defend us.” “It should work, but I don’t think they’re going to stop anytime soon to give us time to retreat…” “Trust me, I have a plan.”

With that, he lit up a lighter and threw it on the ground, causing fire to begin spreading in between the two sides. Shadow flew to Kitty, picking her up and putting her on his back once more, and began to fly towards the designated area of which Jordan has told him… The thought of that area seemed to pain Shadow… A lot. Furthermore, back in the prison, Leila and Gooby picked up the unconscious Sera and ran out as fast as they could, with Mappy, Claire, and Jordan fending those who were able to get past the fiery wall. Once they got out, they used a prison boat used to transport prisoners to Alcatraz, and set sail. They were safe for only a small amount of time, and they were aware of that… However, when Shadow landed at the park… The time he was sealed away… It was still the same… Repairs have not been made so far… There were still broken trees, destroyed buildings, and the crater of which he was sealed in. “So many dark and horrible memories of this place… Alas, it is the only place of which it is completely desolate now because of my… Time here…” Kitty finally awoke and got off of Shadow’s back. “What happened here?” “It is a long story… I don’t wish to talk of it, but you should know of my time when I lost memory and had my Soul Stealing rampage…” “Oh right… That… At least now, you’re back to what you always were… And that is why I love you; for whom you truly are. Despite being one of the Demon Chamber Elites, you still have that one emotion of which even you submit to… Love, and for me.” Shadow smiled in appreciation and affection, as Kitty did the same.

However, back at the prison ship, things were starting to look a little bit less peachy than they were earlier…

Anyways, here is the rest of Chapter 5:

Back at the ship, the boat was as slow as a turtle that has to walk on crutches. To make matters worse, they didn’t check their supply of coal, so they couldn’t power their prison steamboat. It stopped, in the worse part of the ocean. The waves knocking against the boat woke Sera up, made some seasick, and others just fine. The problem was, they needed to reach their destination and they couldn’t. Jordan put his hand on his head and murmured, “Why now of all times?..” However, a sudden remembrance allowed him to say a phrase that was not normal. It was neither in English, nor any dialect for the matter of fact, not even ancient dialect for as long as anybody was aware of.

Shadow heard the phrase being said, and he grabbed Kitty’s hand and said, “We need to head to these co-ordinates and help our friends.” Kitty nodded to show that she understood, and they both took themselves to the sky. At the ship, they were being drifted away by the powerful currents, desperately hanging on before hitting an object, causing them to begin sinking. Screams of terror came from everyone. Halfway sunken, the angel and devil flew by and picked up the 6, 3 each. Shadow took up Jordan, Mappy and Claire, while Kitty took up Gooby, Sera, and Leila. The sink completely sunk when they took off back to their designated area. After a tiring trip of carrying 3 people each, they settled down and took a rest from the long day they had.

That didn’t last long. After about a couple hours, Shadow got up from his slumber, and sat on a rock next to the area he was sealed in, and sighed. Kitty got up after realizing that she didn’t hug the one other person in the tent, Shadow. She walked out and saw Shadow perked up on the rock, and joined him. “What’s wrong Shadow?” “Nothing… Just… Remembrances of a time of true darkness and hatred…” “What’s done is done. You still have the ability to take souls, but at least now you don’t do it for any reason…” “I suppose, but you see that crater with those ancient symbols forming around it?” “Yeah… It was where you were sealed for a while, right?” Shadow nodded solemnly, and Kitty gave Shadow a kiss on the cheek and said, “As long as we’re together, there isn’t anything to be sad about. Devil or angel, we are still in the mysterious and mythical feeling of love, and that feeling is a good one, and I know you feel the same way.” Shadow smiled once more and returned the kiss to the cheek, and said, “I suppose we should get back to bed, shall we?” Kitty nodded and Shadow held her hand back to the tent, before falling back into yet another slumber, with the knowledge of being loved by a truly pure-hearted angel, sleeping right by his side.

The next morning, they put away their tents and got ready to move. Sera got up and acted a bit unusual… She took out her knife quite early and went behind Gooby. Kitty noticed it and walked up next to Sera and asked, “What are you doing with that knife?” “Nothing,” Sera replied with a somewhat… Unusual grin. Kitty became rather suspicious of her and decided to keep an eye on Sera. As they traveled, they of course got hungry. They stopped at a nearby area, of which was a building that Shadow destroyed during his soul keeping era: Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. They stopped and decided to see if they could scrounge up some food there, and Sera said she’ll meet us after she does something, and asks Gooby to come with her. Gooby just went along with his music, not giving two shits about everything else going around him. After about half an hour, Sera came into the pizzeria with an insane look on her face. Kitty went up and asked, “Are you okay? Where’s Gooby?” Sera just looked at her with that insane look on her face and replied, “Gooby will be sleeping for a while now…”

 

Goddamnit Sera why do you have to murder me :~;

Chapter 6: Betrayal.

Hey guys, just as a notice, I was originally going to post this about 5 days ago and it was really long, but then I realized it didn’t make much sense with the title, so I went ahead and started over from scratch, causing it to be seriously short. I'll try to have Chapter 7 in today as an apology/something to make up. Enjoy.

Kitty stared at Sera with a suspicious expression on her face. “How long will be he sleeping for?” Sera looked and said, “Just enough time for us to go.” Kitty didn’t lower her guard and beckoned Sera to walk with her inside the pizzeria. Sera took her knife out of her purse and began twirling it around with almost no care if it flew out and hit something/someone. Kitty continued to walk, but a little bit further away from Sera, and she began trembling with each and every step, wondering about what happened to Gooby. A couple minutes later, Kitty turned around to see what Sera was doing, and Sera was not near her, nor anywhere within sight. A maniacal laugh was heard inside the bathrooms, and when Kitty peeked inside, she saw Sera cutting a robotic thing (Chica) into pieces. Kitty immediately turned away and put her back against the wall. Trembling even more, she ran towards the area of which everyone was sitting at, the cafeteria. “Something is wrong with Sera. She never acted like this… Well, so long as I knew her,” Kitty said. Shadow looked at the worried Kitty and said, “If it is such a trouble, why don’t I go talk to her?” “She’s in the girl’s bathroom.” “Never mind then.” Footsteps were heard after ~5 minutes of silence. Sera stood there and said, “Hey you guys want to know something interesting?” Shadow got up and walked towards Sera and grabbed her by the neck. “What is it? Did you do something that I would not like to hear?” Sera, even while being choked, smiled and said, “No, but I have a surprise for each and every one of you, and it will allow you to travel to another world.” Shadow let go of Sera and asked, “What do you mean?” Sera looked with that insane look on her face and screamed, “ALLOW ME TO SHOW YOU!” Sera lunged at Shadow and stabbed the knife into Shadow’s chest, before being kicked away by Shadow. Shadow’s chest was pouring blood, but he didn’t seem to heed the fact that it was even bleeding in the first place. “What is wrong with you?” Sera didn’t reply, but came for Shadow again, before being grabbed by the neck and thrown into the wall hard enough to break the wall. “I will ask you one more time; what the hell is wrong with you?” Sera coughed a little blood and grabber her knee. “What would it matter to you?..” Shadow began walking up to Sera and she tried scooting back against the wall. “I am giving you one last chance before I get severely forceful. I don’t want to take unnecessary action to a comrade.” “But I’m not your comrade anymore.” Shadow looked in confusion and beckoned Jordan and Kitty to come to him with weapons of torture. Jordan brought with him a Taser, and Kitty brought an electric charged whip made out of pure light. Shadow formed a spear of flames made by pure darkness, and said, “If you don’t explain yourself, I will not hesitate using this, and I am sure my friends here won’t mind using theirs either.”

Sera looked in fear before saying, “You don’t want to know. Either way, I’ll die.” Shadow raised his spear and said, “You have ten seconds.” Sera took out her knife and threw it at Shadow. Shadow simply caught the knife and threw it backwards. “Five seconds remaining.” Jordan turned on his Taser, and Kitty raised her whip. Sera finally broke out and said, “I am not part of you anymore…” Kitty and Jordan stopped and laid down their weapons. Shadow kept his raised and asked, “What do you mean?” “I am saying… Those who are insane… Have taken away my sanity…” Shadow was enraged for a moment and put his spear under Sera’s chin, pointing it at her throat, and raised her using the spear. “What are you talking about? What information of us did you expose to them?” “Everything…” Shadow’s red eyes glowed a pure, crimson-like glow, and it had signs of pure hatred. “One of my first comrades… Was the one who gave our information and movement patterns… I don’t believe it…” Sera shed one tear before Shadow slit her throat. Sera dropped to the ground and said as her last words before dying, “In this world… There is no such thing… As peace… So long there are two different sides… There will always be bloodshed… And so long there are those who oppose one another… There will always be betrayal… That… Is war…”

Jordan and Kitty looked at Shadow in shock. Jordan grabbed Shadow by the collar of his suit and pushed him against the wall, screaming, “WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?” Shadow gritted his teeth and stared at Jordan. “You wouldn’t know how it feels… To be betrayed by a trusted comrade…” Jordan only pushed him harder against the wall and screamed, “IF THAT IS HOW YOU TREAT A COMRADE, THEN I WILL NOT STAND BY IT. I CAN’T WORK WITH PEOPLE LIKE YOU.” Shadow sighed and said, “If that is how you feel, then perhaps I should continue alone.” Jordan simply dashed back and said, “Then do it. You won’t survive.” With that, Shadow walked away and took flight once out of the pizzeria. Kitty began walking after him before Jordan grabbed her by the shoulder and said, “Don’t. We don’t need an angel to suffer what devils do.” Kitty just looked at the departing Shadow and saw something fall. She ran for the item and saw it. She saw and grabbed, the beloved necklace of Shadow.
