Which is the best Laptop/Desktop? Builds & etc.

Okay, I thought about buying a new laptop, as the current one that I'm using is slowly turning into one of those horrible laptops. I play games on my laptop like everyday, more than 2 hours. I need a laptop that will last long and does not overheat easily. Laptops that I probably will buy are Alienware, Lenovo, Dell, or Razer Blade. I don't know which one to get, so I need you guys' help. You can suggest any kind of laptops.

Aside from laptops, which desktop or desktop custom build is the best for gaming?

The brand of my laptop is asus and I'm very satisfied with it. You should check out their site, they have some laptops suitable for gaming

 

Tbh, you don't need an amazing computer to avoid minecraft lagging. If you use the JVM arguments in the Edit profile section you can allocate more RAM into your Minecraft. Mine currently runs with 2,5-3 GB RAM which is fine to me and I'm using a 6 GB RAM laptop. Unless you want shaders or video record your gameplay I recommend buying an 8 GB RAM+ PC

 

I don't just play Minecraft. I play other games like CoD on PC. I was just looking for a good computer that will be able to run a good amount of games such as DayZ, M.A.T, etc. Oh and I have an 8GB ram laptop, is that good?

I heard it overheats easily. Is that why?

 

Minecraft is litterally a RAM eater compared to other games and 8 GB is a very decent ammount.
