My Comment Earlier

IJAH Community,

I sincerely apologize for my dramatic behavior in a particular comment, which can be found in the thread William made earlier today, that consisted of information which regarded the whole admin/mod+ situation.
I behaved inappropriately, my attitude was completely bizarre, and entirely offensive to the J&H crew.
The point of this thread is to point out that simply having an opinion and stating is is completely fine; doing what I did and making a big deal out of it isn't, and will likely get you punished.
To be clear, what I replied with on that thread should not be an example of what to do as a member of the IJAH community, and I should not be considered as a role model because of it.

Thank you for understanding and hopefully there are less hard feelings.
I will be taking a break, though, for a few days as I need to get rid of the stress I have.

I am glad you apologized about what you said. You are one of my closest friends on the server and I respect about your decision of taking of break.

We have our moments during our time in here and some of the moments sometimes go a little far. It's ok to have those rare moments, we are human. I hope you feel better after the next couple of days.

Nobody's perfect, yeah? We all make mistakes and we all learn from them. In my view, you were stating your honest opinion, and to be truthful, we kind of need that every so often. I don't see the harm in your message, although a little intense, but clearly you see otherwise. Let's put it this way, life is like a dance. We keep dancing through life with all these mistakes we try to fix in our routine, and the dances go from careless and loaded with mistakes, to very precise and accurate. You learn from what you have done wrong in the dance moves, and make sure you won't mess them up again. Have fun on your few day break, and I hope some weight does get lifted off your shoulders. Sometimes things you say are influential. As a staff member she "is the authority"-willy

Opinions such as those can cause people to follow them. Without her making this thread, people may have thought it was okay to make those sort of comments. Lila is stepping up to show that it is not okay, and that takes a lot of courage.

It had to have been hard to make a comment like that in the first place, and it must have been harder to own up to it. #Respect

Edit: When I made this comment, I was talking about the way she gave the opinion. Not the opinion itself

She was expressing her opinion.
And if they get offended then they really need to grow a pair.

Lately all I see are hate comments coming from you. Now the fact that you are taking it out on your own friend on the forums really just grinds my gears. You could have just said a tiny bit nicer and sugarcoated it, but you went full out rude on your friend. That isnt ok, because she is your friend especially.

Look, I dont mean rude and offensive on this thread, I mean in general. For one thing youre acting prejudiced, so speaking. The fact that you cant tell the difference between heart and force is pretty much terrible. She admitted to her mistakes, and thats pretty much it. Honestly I dont think she would make this thread unless she really meant it. And how many times does it take for you to read it to actually understand that she is saying what she means. In all means, do you think staff would go up to her and say "Write this thread ir demote" I know staff and I wouldnt hear that. You might be stating your opinion, but you could have been nicer to your own friend.

Now lila has posted: Gooby may have not been personally rude, but the way he directed it towards you was kind of offensive.

This (would be) very noble if I didn't agree with Gooby. This looks extremely forced. I'll try to express this peacefully. I've been forced to write apologies before, and they look exactly like this. You were expressing your opinion. Everyone has freedom of speech. You did it with courage, too. No need to apologize, you should be getting praise for this.

Sorry, because this seems so offensive, but it isn't meant to be. I'm comparing the two. They are bizarrely similar.

 

Kudos to you lila, you did the right thing apologizing. You are nice enough to do so. I believe that you have done the right thing apologizing, because apologies come from the heart :)
