connection bug???

i cant seem to connect to the server, i tried everything to connect to the server but it wont work, i tried using the versions 1.8 and 1.7.10 to connect to the server but it wont work, i tried puting it in the direct connect, it still wont work, i refresh it so many times and all it says is pinging......

how can i connect to the server, but this is the problem, in my sisters computer it works and she can get in the server, in my mac, i cant get into the server

 

Are you sure that your firewall will allow you to connect? Can you connect to other servers?

I think this issue will resolve eventually. It happens once and a while. I think that if you restart your router it may allow you to connect, but other than that I think you should just wait until you can connect again.
