Soo, i really want to hear what you guys think of the show! So what is your favorite season, 1, 2 or 3?

In my opinion, Book 2 is a freakin Masterpiece. The story is great, the characters were lovable as always, and the effects were purely awesome.

What about yours? :)

Mine is Book 3.

Explores airbending a lot. And OH MY GOOD LAWD AIRBENDERS CAN ACTUALLY FLY.
Korra vs. Zaheer was a little nod to Aang vs. Ozai, except for the fact that Korra is dying and Zaheer wasn't afraid of the Avatar State. Also,Aang's Avatar State was OP as fk, unlike Korra. Still a good match.
JINORA IS BALD
Earth Queen's dead
Zuko came back
We got a background of the Bei Fong family, yet we don't know who Toph's husbands were. Yes. "Husbands".
Studio Mir. Nuff said.
Last two episodes became a little more like Japanese anime just to further confuse the fandom ;)
A huge city named Zaofu almost entirely composed of metal. HOW HARDCORE IS THAT
We got Jessie Flower and Grey DeLisle back in a cameo as young Su and Ming-Hua, respectively
Red Lotus rocks. Bolin making friends with Ghazan and Ming-Hua was funny
Asami becomes a little useful in the season

Lel i agree with you, season 3 was pretty good, but the times they showed it and moving the show online was pretty Crappy. I actually was happy when the earth queen died, She's an Asshole. I even said when episode 3 rolled around, "Man, i hope this b*tch dies.." Zaofu was awesome, I wonder if in real life, we can start making cities with a Metal Dome that opens to protect from like Foreign Airstrikes and Atomic Bombs, It would be a Pain in the ass to Engineer and build, but a man can dream cant he?

Also, i really enjoyed Bolin in this series, he was hilarious, but he had some awesome moments too. (Lavabending out of nowhere) Plus the Making friends with the bad guys was Gold xD

Jinora is now bald... its gonna be hard to get used to that. :P

We better see Toph in book 4 or i am gonna flip...

It is actually unconfirmed if Toph is already dead. She's officially listed as "whereabouts unknown". I hope she's going to show up in Book 4.

I also loved the whole fight based around and during Harmonic Convergence, It was probably the most action packed and interesting part imo ^-^
IF TOPH COMES BACK IN THE NExT BOOK I SWEAR TO CHRIST I'LL EAT MY GUITAR....because Toph.. ;u;

I want to see more flash backs of when Team Avatar grew up. The first series is STILL my favourite...Legend of Korra needs a Saka. And I know Mako's brother is SUPPOSED to be Saka, but Saka had puns and REALLY funny animated derp faces. I miss that.

Mainly, it's the humour I am missing. But y'know, I DO like it a BIT different, just A bit more....randomness of SOME sort.

The humor in LoK is deeper since it's been seven or so years since Sozin's Comet: Avatar Aang. Of course, the show is for the loyal Avatar fans :P

 

I can see there's spoilers here...ergh.
I was a huge fan of the first series, and although I found the third chapter to be much worse then the first two I still watched it. I never actually got into Legend of Korra, I watched the first few episodes but I never got addicted or anything.
So...could someone tell me what they like about it, but without spoiling things? I had to skip past all other posts on here.

 

Well, it's a whole new series with some nice references to the old Avatat. That's not a spoiler, of course they'd add the old GAang. Then the fight scenes are good. Excellent character development. Korra is based on the fandom's favorite (Avatar Kyoshi). Also, still as funny as the old series.

 

I watched one episode two days ago to see what all the hype was.

Not going to lie, I fell asleep during it. It was essentially a boring ripoff of Avatar: The Last Airbender, which I actually liked when it was on Nickelodeon. The big fluffy flying mammoth thing was cool.

 

I'm a loyal avatar fan! But I just dont know how to spell names like that.

nvm, i dont want to start an argument. Yes I argree its a bit deeper. I wouldn't have it another way.

 

You've honestly gotta watch at least half a season in to start understanding stuff...of course its boring at first if you dont know anything...

 

Ah. Yes that's probaly why, I hate it when they don't show TV shows at the same date as they do in America. Then we have to TRACK DOWN a TV show and THEN its a DAY LATE after AMERICA. Like, Britan, England, America and Canada get to watch Doctor Who on Saturday, but WE need to wait till Sunday. They should show it at different times. I KNOW that that gives Aussie a spoiler chance but does that often happen to Australia with ALL the OTHER TV SHOWS (such as LoK)? No.
They really should change it. I wan to hashtag but I don't know if they work here...
