What're we doing...

Some people are spamming up the Hacker section.
Why is this?
I'll give some examples from @Slevin and @Lolingguy13

The page is literally filled up with hackers.
Now, what's the same about it?
IT'S ALL IN SURVIVAL GAMES.
What's it all on?
KING OF THE HILL.
I'm not saying this for everyone, nor am I trying to make a drama thread. I'm saying that we're doing this. But why?

To make a good impression on staff.
Everyone wants to be a staff member, and people realize that people who report a lot become staff.
So the people who are "smart" try to do the same thing to become staff easier.
But really...you're just spamming up the report abuse section, making it cluttered.
Not saying to stop. Just pointing it out.

EDIT: Just realized. Not only does it make the hacker/glitch/cheating page filled on 1 topic, but it also keeps us from playing the ACTUAL SURVIVAL GAMES.

 

Reasons aside, if they'reporting legit hackers, good for them and the community?

 

It's starting to really bother me how people are numbering it ;~; Some people do it just to be organized, I get that, but I get a feeling some people are doing it to fame themselves. Maybe I'm not one to talk though...

 

There literally is nothing wrong with reporting people. I don't see why you're making such a big deal about it lol

 

I guess that's what they go on to report them for : P

 

He's saying that Slevin and MANY others are just doing that to copy Anra and get helper.

The whole numbering thing is something I dislike in general. I don't do it when I do my reports and look at how many I make, it doesn't matter how many reports you have made.

I really don't see anything wrong with this. I'm guessing if they have some free time they go report some potential hackers in SG on the KOTH since not alot of other people are doing this. I report these kinds of hackers too but not that much, however I pretty much "spam" the Spamming and Advertising Report Section.

I don't know if they are trying to make a good impression on staff. From what I have been seeing is that the most recent people promoted to Helper were just like this, maybe following an example? For me, it is great that you report people and I can see it as a primary thing people do to help others since staff can't be on all the time. However, mainly reporting offenders and just that isn't going to give you a guaranteed staff position. I'm sure it gives the person a higher chance but there are other things that determine staff and not. That's all I can say now.

Just to clear things up, since the community now suddenly believes spamming the section will get you helper. Just saying IT DOESN'T. I am not saying not to report hackers, reporting hackers is good and continue to do so. We take report count into consideration but we also look at other things for potential helpers, not just reports.
