You forget something, say, your lunch box, and you have to get to your buses on time. You're too pressed on time to get your lunch box and have to rush to the buses. Because your bus route switched buses and drivers, you dash RIGHT PAST IT and everyone on the bus screams (<insert your name here> STOP! You passed it!) without even realizing it. So you're at the back of the school and have no idea where your bus is. Luckily, a bus driver finds you and asks your bus number. You say it, and head to the street it pulled over on. Now everyone's relieved that you got on the bus, loves you and hates you for making them late to home. Spoiler: ._. this actually happened today xd
I actually go to school with my parents car since my dad goes to work close to my school and my mom takes the other car to go to work xD
Funny story, on the first day of middle school I was walking to my bus like your every day sixth grader. What no one told me was that there were three bus routes. What I also didn't know was that only one of them went to my stop. So I went, bus c is too crowded, I don't really like the letter b, kinda crowded too. Huh, a. I like that letter. Not as crowded as the others. I'll go with route a. It was the right route. Yep.
Once in sixth or seventh grade I was walking to the bus stop with @YoshcraftMLG , and then he realized "Crap, we forgot our phones and iPods." It was 7:14, and the bus comes to take us to school at 7:20. So I give him my backpack, and make a full on dead sprint up the hill. (Which is about half a mile, no joke.) I run inside, grab our stuff, and then run back down the hill, in the rain, to our stop. I get there at 7:20. On the dot. Whew. I guess I was pretty lucky it was raining.
I walk to school. It would take 5 times as long to get to school by bus than walking, especially since I go down the road, which cars/buses can't during school hours, and so I would have to walk a long way, and wait, and then go the long way to school. Hue.
I walk about four hundred feet to my bustop. It's usually really dark, so go out a little late, like five minutes from now. I live about 2 or 3 miles from my school, theres no place to walk, unless you want to walk in roadside ditches and forests...
