Why you shouldn't leave.

Oh and just so you know

There is nothing that will bring me back except the decision made by me to come back for a short amount of time (Which is what I will be doing). Please understand that there is nothing here for me anymore. Some of my best friends I had on this server are gone and I have no intension to come back and make new ones. :P

It's sad to see people leave, but you can't force people to stay.

and respect it
but there's really nothing you can do about people leaving
even after reading this people will leave.

 

Sorry, the way that you were saying it made it sound like you didn't understand what I was trying to say.


Btw, this isn't just for you, I just needed to put this in the same comment, It's that yes, I do realise people are still gonna leave after reading this. My point is for the people who are planning on leaving, to realise what type of oppritunities they may be missing out on. Not saying everyone will find these as things they are missing out on, but It's some general things I came up with.

 

I respect the way you are trying to motivate people to stay in the community. It shows that you support a lot of people on here, but how long do you think they will stay until they have the same or different problem and leave again? There could be a cycle that can be going on for a long time and some people probably want to break that cycle.

If someone is leaving the community, I at least would talk to them to see what's wrong since it shows you are supporting that person. I would not say "Ok then, good luck in your future", it shows that although you respect someone's opinion, you are not trying to support the person in some scenarios. If the person is sure that he/she wants to leave, I would respect his/her opinion. I'm not going to force anyone to reconsider their decision, no matter who they are to me.

Not all people are sure they want to leave the community. Sure they may miss out on some opportunities they have in the future on the server, but think about other opportunities that are more important than for example getting the Helper Rank, specifically things in real life.

Real life should be more important to a person, whether it is education or some other activity going on in their life. Minecraft and this community shouldn't be someone's number one priority all the time unless you are completely sure. Sometimes you have to let go. It is a part of life and although some people are going to be sad about someone's departure, you can always remember those good memories in the past. They may come back, but some people don't understand how a person's life is going on unless he/she knows him/her very very well.
