Old Server Spawn

So, I had this idea...

Since people saved the old server's spawn.
I'm going to download it.
Create a server.
And host it for all of you to enjoy! (For at least a month, unless someone decides to help pay for hosting)

Now, I need some help with it.

Do you guys think people should build? Or should it be like a "museum" of what was?
And if people can build, should I add factions, or no?

Any other opinions / suggestions are quite welcome.

I never got to see the old spawn (I think I joined not too long after they changed it) so this would be nice. c:

Sure, maybe you should make like applications for people to get whitelisted, get staff on that server, and help build. And make those applications super hard to get accepted.

There are a lot of old spawns. It depends which one you are talking about.

 

Nes poni did the minigame things with the plugins made by him, but he kinda did do it. :3

What do you mean "build or museum"?

Does this have to do with the spawn, or factions?

 

As far as I know, I think he means the very first one, as that's the one people have been downloading, so it would be nice to see it though.

 

um I already thought of it and already bought a server hosting for that as a museum but havent told anyone yet, but its ok if I closed it and help you :)

I do believe the first one had statues of the J&H crew along with a pub where a giant zombie stripper danced on top of a monster spawner.

Do you want to give people the power to build on the map (outside of spawn)?

Or do you just want it to observe?

 

Maybe make 2 servers, one for each?

Like, bungi them or whatever.

 

Just observe them. I don't think we should be able to build as people may build inappropriate things and whatnot.

 

There's already inappropriate stuff there...I wonder if I could find that one penis that Harry worldedited on that one lonely island in the middle of nowhere...

 

I don't think we should build because it ruins the fun in preserving the old server :) Which old spawn? I remember the first one with the trading stands and the bridges and the SG signs haha or is it the one with the underground tunnel thingy and disco? Or the one we play DWG/Noc says? There's a lot haha

 

I personally like the idea, and for people like me I joined a year ago, I don't think I was there for the old spawn, it would be new and fun!! Go ahead I'm all in for it!!
