Minecraft What Exactly does Everyone think about 1.8?

Ok, so as you all know, 1.8 is coming up. The main reason I'm actually posting this is because 1.8 has some good things to go along with it, and some bad things...

Anyways, Im asking for your opinion, what do you think of the upcoming 1.8?

 

I think it's a new Minecraft update with an '8' in it.

On a less sarcastic note: I think the new banners will be cool. Me and my friend have already design a banner when we go to faction server and take over everything.
Oh, and the name changing... who wouldn't want that?

 

The only problem i have is how long there pushing it off, and the EULA

 

Things I want

Bunnies

New door styles for each wood

Slime blocks

Banners

Lastly color beacons

CANT WAIT FOR 1.8!!!!

 

TBH the rabbit thing is lame

 

The rabbits are scary ;-;

 

I really am only excited about name changes.

 

The fps thing didn't work for me ;-;
I want my MC to stop making the pistons disappear when I make the slime block airplane

I like everything that has been added, but I dislike most things that were changed/removed.

Enchanting is now messed up, but at least you can't keep OP items forever now.
Metadata has been removed, ruining a lot of texture packs that use metadata for alternate textures and therefore ruining most of the artists work.
I lag a lot so far (most people get better fps but this is an individual problem to me and not many others, so eh).

 

The first few snapshots were great, but the 1.8 Update is personally getting out of hand in my opinion. Bunnies? That will be a nice addition to the game. Enchanting with lapis? That's nice too but banners, armor stands, world borders... Minecraft dosen't really feel like Minecraft anymore.
Plus we have a little bit of time when 1.8 comes out, because there will be new coding and it will take a few months to get plugins & mods for the 1.8 update.

 

All want is the slime blocks, banners and andersite, diorite and granite, NO, NOT THE NAME CHANGING
