Minecraft Starting to lose interest

I thought this section was appropriate for this thread... if it's not, then feel free to move it.

I'm starting to lose interest in Minecraft. Remember that time, like 2 months ago, when I wasn't online for like a month? Ever since that month I felt like I'm forcing myself to play. That's why I rarely go on.

I can't really explain why I lost interest, even I don't know why. Except for the fact that it's getting boring. No, I'm not leaving the community, but I'm starting to think about quitting Minecraft. I don't want to quit but at the same time I don't want to force myself to do something that I don't want to do... Any suggestions?

Here's some reasons what makes Minecraft Less interesting.
-No updates (Since the 1.8 update is so looooonnnggg)
- Minecraft is interesting when it has goals, like.. You spawn in the world, your goal is to kill the EnderDragon. After you finished your goal, there's nothing to do. Minecraft is Boring without goals, Goals to keep the person interest the game being like.. Productive in-ga,e
- Bullies, -Nuff
-Hackers - Nuff

 

I feel the same thing, and I'm going to give you some words on what I usually do. Come on Minecraft WHEN YOU WANT TO. Why? Because since you don't want to go on as much and not be forced, get online when you feel like it. You got to stick with that.

Pretty much what Claire said.
Come on when you want, and do something else when you don't.
You could also do something that you haven't done much of before. Say you used to be obsessed with this one minigame, and haven't played it for a while now. You could start playing that game again and it could keep you a little interested :D
We could also start a Skyblock together (gets pretty fun after a bit)

Why don't you try something new? Try new minigames, find a different server you could also spend time playing minigames on; just because you're in the IJAH community doesn't mean you can't be elsewhere :p

If you still don't want to play anymore, don't ask us, follow your instincts ;)

Welp, if a game is not interesting anymore. You can always find a new one, and then try to come back to the old one later! ;)
I took a break from Minecraft about a year ago, like a 2 months break. Played some RuneScape again, came back and everything was much better.
At least you're not quitting the community :)

I started playing a new game (AOTTG) and I got really addicted to it, but what if I forget about Minecraft? I'm scared that will happen...

It's ok, minecraft does get boring a lot. Try experimenting with new mods, or maybe even some new servers. And yeah I agree with rockor, try new minigames!! I was about to take a break from the server but then my friend came on and we played sg until 2am!! But still, I'm not forcing you do do anything, just leave if you want to, i will miss you.

 

So since you're not leaving, you won't forget Minecraft ;)
