[1 Year Server Anniversary] [3 Year Minecraft Anniversary] All-out Thread

Before beginning this thread, I would like to state that this thread will be pretty long. Considering I like to tell about my experiences a lot and want to know about other people's experiences, I sometimes like to tell everything that has happened to me. So be prepared for a long thread, or as I like to call it, an All-out Thread. I'm not expecting all of you to read word for word so yeah. I planned to publish this thread around at midnight of August 8th.

My Minecraft Story

So I'm sitting on a couch in my hotel room in St. Petersburg Florida. It was another summer vacation out by the ocean. I'm sitting on the same laptop I use still and I keep hearing about this game called Minecraft from Spore. Spore was another game I used to play on a lot back in 2010-2011. I was a frequent member on their forums and some clubs and groups created small servers about Minecraft. I was wondering what Minecraft was. Hell I even asked an employee at Best Buy one time if Minecraft was on console, and I found out it was on the computer. On August 8th 2011, CobraTheAlmighty on Minecraft was born.

The username CobraTheAlmighty was a name I thought of back on some chatrooms with the groups I was with on the Spore Forums, or as they call it the "Sporum". My Spore username was Cobra6099. I wanted my username to be cooler and not with numbers. So I thought of Almighty. That is how my username is CobraTheAlmighty, originally from the chatrooms.

As always like every noob, I punched a tree instead of holding down the mouse. I was on singleplayer for a week or two so I could get a feel of what Minecraft was. Now this was back in 1.7.3 Beta so Creative wasn't around yet. I was on a couple of servers my friends from the "Sporum" created that were small communities. One server I griefed windows out of buildings because I didn't know the wrongdoings of griefing at the time. Another server from that forum was a server I was on for a few months. It was a small survival-based server and it is still around to this date.

Spoiler: Earliest Creations I made in late 2011

In October of 2011, I found this one server that I became part of for more than a year. It was one of the largest towny survival servers on a voting website. I made many good friends on there and was very helpful. There were weekly PvP Events on Saturday and Spleef Events every Wednesday. I was a champion at the PvP Events, winning four times. I believe I won one of the spleef events once. During my time on there, I discovered Teamspeak in April of 2012 and became a commentator for some of the events. Around my 1 year anniversary on that server, my activity was held back by the beginnings of High School and I wasn't able to be on the server anymore. I left quietly and not telling anyone that I left, I got some of my old friends from that server on Skype.

At the beginning of 2013, I was trying to look for other servers. I was part of a sky prison server for a while as an awesome guard. I was part of a paintball server for some time. Around this time was the growth of servers filled with many minigames. I tried to become an active member in some communities but it would end because I was either bored or that stuff in real life were affecting me. I was in some large servers that you would probably know like Hypixel, the Hive, McPvP. I was even part of Deadlox's server for a while. None of them really had an impact on me as I just wanted to play minigames. Around August of 2013, I went on this server and I played Build It and Parkour, etc. I wasn't an active member on this server as I was still looking for the right server. I was on the Creative Plot worlds alot as well. Around November of 2013, I decided that this community will be my home. I joined the forums in late December of 2013 and ever since then, I have been a very active member of ItsJerryAndHarry. Ironically J+H's server's anniversary is the same date as my Minecraft anniversary. I have been a part of Minecraft for 3 years now and this is how my story goes. Now lets move on to my other Anniversary.

Server Anniversary

I joined for the first time on this server back in Early August of 2013. Just like all of us when we were new, I was a default like everyone else. I didn't care back then, since I wasn't a donator and the only other time I would donate was for the Minecon 2013 Server where I donated for VIP+. I wasn't thinking back then if this was where I would become an active member. I loved the minigames like Build It which I was very good at. I was also on Parkour which I was very good also. Creative played a big role in my early days on the server. Now I don't play much on Creative considering how it was pulling me away from being a positive person.

December of 2013 was a time I first became active in Lobby and in other places. I still had school so I wasn't that active as opposed to the summer. Two of my first friends on the server I have known ever since I first became active in Lobby were @Audrey_Is_Here and @LilaRok . They were even the first two people I followed on the forums when I made an account on here. I have gotten to know both of them over the months. I remember Lila and I were really good friends that we would try to catch scammers in Skyblock before she was a Helper. So shout out to you two. I was a really big reporter and I remember one time @zezze_99 and I reported the same person. I made my thread first before he did and I remember he was mad at me about it saying that he deals with doing reports or something. That was before he was helper. Now we are really good friends to this day so shout out to you two.

During the Spring I was more active around the forums and server. I made many new friends like @MrDavyJones , @Leopard_Lover21 , @Shadow23221 , @~PandaCaity , etc. I was still a shy person who didn't want to be the first person to say Hi to someone unlike now. The many funny moments we had on Teamspeak were memorable to me and it made me realize that I am a funny person and that I have friends who support me.

The summer was probably the time when I stood out and was considered a very well-known member on the server, forums, Teamspeak, community, etc. I made many new friends along the way (too many to count). I know summer is coming to a close and we all have to go back to school, but remember those memories during the summer. All my friends and I have had awesome memories and I would like to continue that throughout the year and later. From a guy who played on creative and built a Head Shop on his plot to a guy who said Hi to everyone and was very active, I can say that I will be here for a long time. I will not let school lessen my activity on here, despite how important my education is to me and how hard my classes are this year.

Some other news, I want you all to know that if you see me on Skype by video later than Monday, you will notice a change. I have to get braces on Monday. This will be the 2nd time I have to get braces because of a growth spurt in my lower jaw, causing me to have an underbite. I know I will go through this torture again so I'll be shy at first about showing off my braces to you guys.

I will be planning on making a Confessions thread later on this weekend. I am also planning on visiting @~Wolf later on since we both live close to each other before he leaves back to school.

One more thing, I would like to thank you all for reading this thread I have made. I know it took some of your time to read this "masterpiece" I made, but I hope it wasn't too long. I don't want to thank specific people by tagging. I want to thank everyone, and yes I mean everyone. Most of you have had an impact on me during my time on this server, whether it was when I first joined the server or just today. I'm glad that I have gotten to know a lot about you guys as individuals. The many memories I will have on this server will be in my mind for a long time. This is my anniversary story, what is yours?
