Refund

I want my money back from when I donated.
I spent over 300 dollars on this server because I liked it so much, but now I'm equal to everyone else.
I could put the money I gave you guys to good use. I basically just gave you guys money.
So I want my money back because there's no use in donating for the rest of my life.

 

Unfortunately, according to Harry, they don't accept refunds.

one thing explane the ""live time"" perks i also want a refund of my OITC perks :$ i buyed it for live time for the double exp

 

Seriously. There are too many threads about people complaining about the EULA. Come on, seriously?

I mean @ItsHarry said it would have been a risk for people to donate to the server and they should have thought about it before they donated. Also if you want a refund, you are banned from the server permanently. If you donate to the server, you donate to Jerry and Harry trying to keep up their host.

Well, it's not J&H's fault that Mojang recently enforced their EULA much harsher/whatever happened.

 

i know that anyway i didnt buy OITC perks for cosmetic things i did it only of the double exp XD and that is gone :( also without reason because it dont give an advantige

Um, just so you know, you donated to the server, not bought the perks.

You get perks as a "Thank You" for donating. So, yes, you did just give J&H money. We all did, because we all wanted to help the server.

But some people, like you, did it just for the perks, which is extremely selfish. But you still donated, and gave J&H money to run the server.

Congratz, you just learned that donating and buying are two different things! :)

Yes, you do get them lifetime, as they never expire. But, J&H have the ability to change them without your consent.

@PresidentBacon , correct me if i'm wrong, but is that not in the Terms of Use when you donate?

 

There are no ToS when donating. You're deciding to give money to J&H to support the server and they decided to give you rewards for doing so (more like purchasing but eh, everyone calls it donating). There's nothing saying anything is guaranteed other than you will be perm banned for refunding as that costs J&H more than you originally donated.

As Pyro said, J&H and many other servers just use "lifetime" as another way of saying "You don't have to pay x dollars each month to keep your perks."

 

Clearly, if you donated and got SOME experience/ had some fun using it you still donated and got what you asked for, there are some servers that you can donate 5 dollars and get absolutely nothing because it's a chance you're going to take.

 

You also buy a television for "life-time", if it one day stopped working without it beings the stores fault, would you get refunded? No.
Refunding is like stealing money from J&H especially since they have to pay an extra fee. Also they money you DONATED has probably already went into keeping the server alive.

 

Well, you can get a warranty on that TV, but it expires after a certain period of time.

These perks come with no such warranty, so no refunding.

 

Hey, I'm upset at the perks getting taken away too, but there's always room for change. J&H CAN change the perks and stuff when and if they wish, including making up for the perks lost as of now.

 

As has been stated numerous times before I have said this...

There are ZERO refunds.
