Please tell me why ranks lost perks yet people that payed specifically for those same perks still have them? If you donated for /repair, you still have it. If you donated for herobrine rank which came with /repair, you lost it? Exactly how is that fair? So you are telling me, Jerry and Harry, that when I donated for herobrine, and it stated that that donation was rewarded with /repair, /enchant, /enderchest, /craft, and /fly really all I was actually rewarded with was a title, pets and disguises since that is all I have retained? I get some things being removed from everyone, but why do some people have perks and others don't when they all donated for them? A bunch of people will come in here and complain. I don't want that. Please don't. What I want is to know why ItsJerry and ItsHarry did this? And I want to hear from ItsJerry and ItsHarry. Look up my account. Please. I have done a lot to support this server. I wanted to keep doing so when I am able to, but after all this drama this is the one thing that might change that. If some will keep the perks they donated for, everyone should.
Ok, two things, one, Jerry and Harry didn't do it, the minecraft EULA did, none of this is itsjerryandharrys fault, maybe if you read the actual post, you would of understanded, 2nd, they didn't like it anymore than we did, but what would you prefer? A server with some perks but not many, or no server at all. To add onto that, I think this counts as a drama thread, so @BlueJeansToGo
And if you were to read any of my other posts you would know that this decision was not required by Mojang. In fact Mojang never allowed getting perks. In response to a heated conversation that began from one question, they reworded the EULA to allow for ways servers could support themselves without going against what was always in the EULA from the beginning of Minecraft's existence which is you can not offer items that give an unfair advantage for real money. Mojang then gave servers an out without betraying their users by stating that perks can be kept, and even made available through soft currency. Do not blame Mojang for protecting their property.
The Mojang EULA was put in place to stop game effecting perks/rankings, the things that IJAH took away were game changing perks, they then had to open up some instead of taking them away completely so technically, Both Mojang and ItsJerryandHarry are protecting their property.
Yeah, from the existence of minecraft. That hasn't changed. And you are talking to me in general terms. I am asking a very specific question. And you are naive if you think Jerry and Harry own anything that you are referring to. They own their names and intellectual property associated with their names. They don't own the mods, or anything in minecraft, and probably lease/rent the server space. The property they are protecting is their name.
I am simply saying in general terms that I agree with you on Mojang protecting their property, but ItsJerryandHarry did the exact same thing, also, what would you prefer? A server with limited perks or no server at all?
Why do you think that is the only two options? Other options are available. And this is off topic. I want to know why some people retained perks when others didn't. It has nothing to do with the argument you keep trying to start with me.

I will admit, I'm mad, but I can control myself. What I am hoping is this wasn't intended. If some people are retaining perks because they donated specifically for that perk and ranks aren't maybe it is simply because the ranks are behaving how they are now defined, and those perks will be added back. That process would take some time, and I understand that. I just want to know what happened. I appreciate your input. I apologize for being confrontational. Apology accepted of course.
