Frustrations with the new EULA

We understand that you guys are mad since you lost your perks, we to are frustrated with new rules. Just remember this is not our doing or J/H's doing, It's Mojang's. J/h don't have an other alternative that to follow what Mojang says. Things have changed and it's just not one person in particular its the whole server. Now for the main point Please do not rage at us for something we do not have control over or create a bunch of dramatic threads on the forums causing chaos or go on the server and spam it up with nonsense.

These changes will be hard to adapt to no one said it would be easy. Time will let you adjust with these changes. Yes, i understand you guys are mad because its your money and all that stuff. When you donate you clearly should take in mind it's a big risk. You may think "oh ill refund my money and then i don't lose nothing". When in reality you take money away from the server which leaves a shortage of money to pay for the host, which later ends up shutting down the server, and you end up permanently banned. In the end as Harry said would you rather have the server shut down by Mojang or lose some perks and move on and still keep the server.

If you're wondering what the EULA did to the server here's what it did:

1. No more double XP in OITC or golden swords.
2. No more iron swords in SG.
3. Donator Parkour maps have been opened to defaults.
4. Fly is disabled in Survival & Skyblock.(Fly is allowed in server lobbies)
5. ./Repair & ./enchant were removed Survival & Skyblock
6. Everyone gets to set 10 homes regardless of their rank.
7. MineFighter no longer gives you a wooden pick or armour.
8. ./spawner was removed entirely.
9. All ./kits were removed (Starter, Donator, Vip, Premium, Legend, Hero, Herobrine)
10. ./endersee has been removed.
11. (Feel free to add other things i've left out.)

Again please try to cooperative with us as these changes settle in. Most threads that have been made already are causing problems, please try to avoid doing this. Also, spamming the server with "GIVE ME MY PERKS AND KITS BACK!!" or "MOJANG SUCKS" Will result in a warn & nothing will be given back since we are not allowed to do so. The time of OP perks has come to an end and we all have to adjust.

I am fine about the EULA, but how it has been dealt with by IJAH is what annoys me.

1 Sethomes
10 /sethomes each??? What a load of bullshit!! You should make it so that all donators can have unlimited for free (like before) and non-donators can set 10 for free and for each additional one it costs in game money. This will stay legal to the EULA since it is unlockable using soft currancy.

2. /Repair
You should make it so that donators who have bought /repair can do it for free (like before) and non-donators can do the command but it costs a certain amout of money each time you run the command. Like my idea for sethomes, everything is unlockable through in game money.

3 /Enderchest
Since there are enderchests at spawn surely this is a cosmetic perk and is only conveniance, along with /craft?

blame mojang right. j&h is like the only server telling us to hate on mojang lol. look at hypixel they've made their server even better by following mojang's new rules, no more p2w even tho there werent much to start with.

well, j&h was p2w to start with. hehe. /enchant, /fix, /enderchest, WOW non-donors get non of those.

I understand. People keep on blaming Jerry and Harry when it is not their fault. Its Mojang and Jerry and Harry are just doing what the could to keep the server from shutting down

 

Also, I'll quote what Mojang gave out,


How should servers deal with users who have already spent hard currency on features that affect gameplay?
Users may keep the perks they’ve paid for on the condition that the same perks are available to other players on the server (directly or purchasable using soft currency). It’s up to the server host to decide how to compensate users for previous transactions.

So yes, Mojang didn't force you to remove our perks. Just not good enough to code some fancy stuff to allow non donors to earn perks through playing.

 

Guys, you shouldn't be mad about losing your perks. You DONATED. If you donated irl, let's say to, Goodwill, you don't expect anything in return. Yet when you buy, you expect something in return. Your perks are gifts that IJAH gave you for donating. You should be grateful that you ever had them.

 

I checked oitc and we still have our golden perks, is that normal? Same with sumo o-o

 

They are cosmetic as golden swords are the same as wooden swords and same with leather and gold pants.

Really, If you're donating for the perks only, you're kinda donating for the wrong reason. Yeah, the perks are great, but it's only an incentive.

And for those who want refunds:

Even if it is purchasing, The owners have even said, "No refunds allowed."
