Report them immediately.

We do not want content that could potentially scar someone for life, to be shown on here. Report it as fast as you can so we can remove it. Do not post or draw attention to it. Keep the forums clean.

Oh god thanks for this Rockor. I just witnessed.. um yeah I reported immediately.
Thanks to all the staff it was handled very quickly.

 

Dear God, those accounts scarred me for life........

 

I was lucky I decided to check the forums, there were no staff active at the time. There were some threads that were not reported, I had to check all sections for them. I issued the warning points fast, so I had less posts to delete. If one day there's no staff on, or it goes unnoticed, we could have quite a bit of trouble. That is why I cannot stress reporting them enough.

 

It almost makes me want to feel sorry for the server. The entire community if falling apart because of all this and I wish there was a way to stop it. I have tried to report as much as I can (I did not report a lot because of the fact that I could not make it to the posts in time) to help prevent it from happening but all it does is create more. End Of Discussion (In other words, don't quote my post. You are welcome to like if you please). :D

May I ask what exactly happened? It's ok if I get a brief explanation, a tad confused by this.

It was spamming pornographic images, I came on in time to stop it before it made too many.

You can always check the "new members" list, usually they are quite obvious.

 

Also, just encase some don't know this, if you see a person making a thread about a product and gives the website link, those are spambots and they can be reported as well. Anyways thanks for the thread, rockor. I almost freaked seeing all of this pornographic content on the website.

 

Been doing the spambot crap it takes a long time to get dealt with tho

Question: Does that mean report all alt accounts as well, or just the ones doing this?

 

To my knowledge we haven't come to a conclusion with the normal alts, but I'm mainly talking about accounts that post inappropriate content. I'm glad most of you don't know what happened last night, because it means I did my job fast enough.

 

Is it stressful banning/deleting all of those users and posts?

I know that some other sites using XenForo have image filters. I'll have to look that up, it's definitely possible.

 

Either that, or we just weren't on/paying attention.
