Minecraft Coords 1,000,000!

Since Minecraft's World is Endlessly Generated I tried to get to a million and I did in X and Y!

There is no food in your hotbar, you have an equivalent of 48 gold blocks in your inventory, and your diamond sword is new...
I suspect command blawks.

The world is 60,000,000 x 60,000,000, and you can easily do /tp @p 1000000 ~ 1000000

 

Wow, if thats the million mark i wonder what the far lands coords are :o

 

How long would it take to walk that far, let's try it :D

Guys... the Far Lands don't exist anymore. And to John, in Beta 1.7.3, the last update where the Far Lands existed, it was 12,000,000 blocks until you got there. There is a guy on YouTube called "kurtjmac", and he has a series called Far Lands or Bust! He is trying to walk to the Far Lands with no hacks, mods, or cheats. He has been walking for about a year, and he is only at about 1,000,000. The MC Wiki says that if you walk in a straight line on a superflat world, it will take you 820 hours to reach 12,000,000 blocks. THAT'S 34 DAYS IN A ROW.

 

I probably sound like a noob for this, but what was the "Far Lands"?

 

Since you get so far away from spawn, the game starts glitching. You can hardly walk and your block placement is over a block off. When you get to the exact point, there is a GIANT wall of land. You can check the MC Wiki page for more detailed information.

The far lands still exist, they have just been changed. The terrain errors have been removed but now there's different terrain errors and lots of bugs happen.
